Another Christmas card made using the Songbird cartridge.

Hello, friends!!

I am so excited! I have finished my Christmas shopping, I am done with school until next month, and I have all of my Hello Thursday projects done PLUS lots of extra projects made! This means that I can relax a little bit this week since my son is out of school next week. I read an entire book today( a really funny Chelsea Handler book) and just might read another one today! Not too mention today is Papertrey Ink's new release day! It just doesn't get much better for me! I am in such a good mood!

Ok, I loved making the card I posted yesterday so much that I made another that is exactly the same just with a different color scheme. I never do this, but I thought it would be fun. Songbird is such a great cartridge!

the paper is Bo Bunny
I cut the shape at 2 1/4".

I will see all of you cool cats here tomorrow! I will post my projects as soon as I get the greenlight from PC! I just cannot wait!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

tidings of comfort and joy card made using the Cricut Songbird cartridge and my copic markers

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card that I made using the Songbird cartridge. There are a bunch of great shapes on that cartridge that are great for stamping images on. For this card I stamped an image and colored it in using my copic markers. I have not had time lately to use them, so I wanted to pull them out and color a little something. I chose this stamp from SU! and this great shape from the Songbird Cricut cartridge.

The dotted paper is from Bo Bunny. The ribbon and stamp are from SU!
I cut the shape at 2 1/4".

Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to check back in tomorrow! Also, don't forget that Thursday is Hello Thursday! I have been working hard on projects for days and days now. I cannot wait to show you what I have made!!

Have a wonderful day!

Just rosey thank you card using Copic markers, nesties, and papertrey Ink stamps.

Hello, friends!!

I made an 'A' on my test!! Woohoo!! I am so glad all that work paid off! It is always so stressful taking a test from a professor for the first time. You never know what to expect. It is such a relief now that I know!

Anyway, this card is not made using anything Cricut. However, if you do not have nestibilities you can can cut out a similar shape with your cricut. I am sure something similar exists.

I used SU! paper completely on this card. Also, the ribbon is from SU!
I stamped the images on colored patterned paper, added some shading with a gray copic marker(C1), and hand cut the pieces out.
Using my air compressor and a copic marker I airbrushed this nestibility shape. Then I added the rhinestones using tweezers.
I have more stuff that I am posting this week, so don't forget to check back in!!

Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Have a goodie card made using Lovely Florals Cricut Lite cartridge and copic markers

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card that I made using the Lovely Florals Cricut Lite cartridge and my copic markers. This nice scalloped image is just perfect for stamping an image and coloring it in with your trusty copics. Forget nestibillities...try one of these shapes instead!

The scalloped shape is cut at 4". The stamp used if from Papertrey Ink.

The paper is the Bo Bunny Double Dot. Speaking of which I am going to have to get some more because I am running low!

I hope you all are having a great week! I went to the dentist yesterday because I was having trouble with one of my wisdom teeth....so if that tells you what kind of week I am having. The worst part is I can't get them extracted until August!! Oh well, I guess I have waited 16 or so years to do it. What is a couple more months. Have I mentioned how freaked out I get by even going to the dentist? It has not been a great week ;-)

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Sweet Pea card made with copics

Hello. friends!!

I hope you had a 'scraptastic' weekend! I know I got lots done in the craft room!

Today's card is made using my copic markers and a stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I actually went against my own advice and used a white ink to stamp the image. It worked out great!! I highly recommend the white ink from Papertrey Ink. It is the best there is! I promise!

since I did not use the memento ink I did not want to do a ton of shading. So, for the shadows I just used a grey colored copic. I think for this I used the 'W6' one.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure to stop by Everyday Cricut enter our contest to win the Expression! Also while you are there check out Joy's awesome card!!

Have a great week!

Let Your Dreams Take Flight

Hello, friends!

I hope you enjoyed the Ustream last night! We have so much fun doing them! How many of you bought the Cricut Cake? I am so excited about seeing what everyone does with the machine!

On to the card...

I bought some homemade embellishments from Michelle Wooderson's Etsy shop. I just love everything she does!

Anyway, the stamped sentiment, button, and scalloped border were in the kit. You can make the border though using your Plantin' Schoolbook cartridge.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

I 'heart' hydrangeas! Card made with Songbird and Copics

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I was able to craft a little and clean a lot! I call that a very productive weekend!

Today's card is made using the Close to My Heart stamp of the month and my trusty Songbird cartridge. One of my favorite things about this cartridge are all of the cool shapes it has. They are great to stamp your sentiment on for cards. I cut this one out at 1 1/2" and then again at 1 1/4".

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Enjoy your week!!

All you need is love....

Hello, everyone! happy Sunday to you! I hope you are all having a very nice weekend. I am crafting almost all weekend making stuff for the next few weeks on the Holiday blog and this blog.

Oh and don't forget to leave a comment on my batman Valentine post from Friday and sign up to follow this blog. That way you will be eligible to win the Batman cricut cartridge that I am giving away to one lucky winner. Also, make sure you head over to Joy's blog and do the same, so you can be eligible to win a Superman cricut cartridge!

On to the card...

this card was made with my favorite Bo Bunny double dotted paper, a Martha Stewart around the page punch, and some seriously cute stamps from Taylored Expressions and Verve. I colored the images with my copics and added a little bit of liquid glass accents to make the chocolate look a bit more realistic.

I hope you all have a nice Valentine's Day with the one or ones you love. I know I will be with my DH, my 5 year old, and little Lucy our puppy. That is either a combination for a good time or......well, lets just say or not such a good time ;-)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

You're my cup of tea!

Hello, everyone!

I hope you are all having a great week. I am having a very busy one. I have 2 exams this week at school. One of the classes I am taking this semester is College Algebra. Let me tell you, it is tough going back to college with a 15 year gap. Last semester was not that bad, but this semester I am taking Algebra. That makes all the difference. I really hate math...really really hate it! Good thing my husband has a math degree, my friend Tom has multiple math related degrees, and Joy is an engineer! Thanks goodness for smart friends! This is another good reason to surround yourself with people smarter than you. They can always teach you something.

The card I have for you today is a card that I made using the Labels 9 Nestibilities dies and my copic markers.

After running my nestiblity die through my cuttlebug. I left the die in place on the paper and then used my Copic airbrush system to airbrush the die. The good thing about leaving your die on the paper is it leaves that nice crisp white border around the the edge.

I then stamped and colored with my copics this adorable Unity stamp. Then I cut it out and adhered it to the airbrushed paper. I could have avoided this step if I would have masked the area, but I found it easier to stamp on another sheet of paper and cut it out by hand.

Have a wonderful day!!

Be My Valentine!

Hello, everyone!

Today's card is a Valentine card I made using the Love Struck mini cartridge. This cartridge is perfect for any valentine project you might have. The heart is cut out at 4".

I used my copic markers to color the clear rhinestones, so they would match the paper. That is one of the great things about the copics. You can customize your embellishments!

Valentine is cut at 1".

Have a great day!

Songbird thank you card

Hello, everyone!

Today I have a card that I made using the new Songbird cartridge, a stamp from Unity, and my trusty copic markers.

My color scheme was not a usual one that I would normally use, but I felt like stepping out of my comfort zone on this one. Besides coloring the bird and frame with my markers, I also colored the pearl accents to match the aqua I was using. That is one the the really awesome things about copic markers. You can easily customize your embellishments!

The nested shapes are cut from Songbird. I really love that cartridge! It has a lot to offer!

I am getting so excited about attending CHA this year. I need to go shopping with Joy and Tammy next week to pick up some cute things to wear. Also, I need to call Kevin, my stylist, for an appointment. I just had one a few weeks ago, but I want my roots to look good. I can't be doing demo's on the provocraft stage with bad roots can I? Which reminds me, I so need a manicure before I go. My hands are a little worse for wear these days. When shooting the last video I filmed for Christmas with the Cricut my DH zoomed in on my hands and I almost fainted when I saw the play back. It was not pretty!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Birthday Copic marker card

Hello, everyone! I have a quick and easy birthday card for you today that I made using my copic markers, Bo Bunny paper, and CTMH stamp set called 'Love You Forever'.

This is super duper easy throw together card.

Here is a video I did a while back about copic markers. it is full of information for people who are just starting out. The only thing that needs to be updated in the video is that now I actually am a certified designer!

Well, we are expecting snow AGAIN here in Texas in today. It has been the coldest winter we have had here in years! I hope where ever you are, you are nice and cozy today!

Have a wonderful day!!

Happy Thursday!

Hello, everyone! Sorry I have been so quiet this week. I have had a lot going on and have not had a chance to photograph some cards I had made until today. So, I am posting one today and another tomorrow. That way I can at least get in two post this week!

This card was made using Close To My Heart patterned papers and SU! cardstock. I used a Unity stamp and colored him in with my copics. I am so excited about going to San Antonio for the certification class! I cannot wait!

Have a great rest of your day!!

thanks

Happy Wednesday, everyone!!!

Here is the sister to yesterday's thank you card. I just love those Unity stamps!!! Isn't that apple the cutest!?!

The paper is SU! and the embellishments are Close To My Heart. The tag the apple is on is cut from a cricut cartridge. Like the pumpkin from yesterday, I colored in the stamped image with my copics. I was getting rusty with my copic coloring, so I had to dust them off and color on Sunday. I really need to find the time to take some more classes!

Hope you all have a great day!
