Thank you very much flower card using Baby Shower cartridge and NEW CTMH stamps!

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a superdity duperdity weekend! My weekend was similar to last weekend. I toiled away trying to get my house ready to sell. That is serious work y'all! This is my first time ever selling a house and I have to tell you, it is way more stressful than I thought it would be! Not only that, it is a seriously blow to your ego. Apparently, if you want to feel bad about your design skills have a realtor come over. Oh well, maybe sometimes you need people to bring you into reality and tell you that you should not have painted your master bathroom pink. Let me clarify though, it was not of the pepto bismol or hot/electric pink varieties like I have seen some people do. It was a soft rose pink. Now it is a soft taupe and we actually really like it. Who knew!?! Actually my husband did. He always hated the pink. Bless him. He is so patient with me and my crazy self!

Today's card is made using the Baby Shower cartridge and a new stamp set from the Close To My Heart Spring/Summer catalog called Card Word Puzzle

Here is the CCR file: http://www.box.com/s/pvvkhk4f2aqxexurr9mm
Here is the Gypsy file:  http://www.box.com/s/hc4fi9gyjmrhy8jj6g59

I used the Close To My Heart Pemberley paper line.
I stamped the flower in Outdoor Denim and then colored it in with markers. I stamped the sentiment with a kraft ink color then inked the edges with the same ink.
Thanks so much for dropping by! I will be back tomorrow with another project!

February Specials
The February stamp of the month is called Thoughtful Tidings and coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge. It also has some great number and sentiment stamps! As usual it is $17.95 if purchased alone or only $5 with any purchase of $50 or more!

Have a great Monday!

Pretty card. --- good luck on the house sale. It's definitely hard work getting the house ready and then keeping it that way. You'll just have to make lots of crafty projects to share with us to relieve the stress. Lol. : )

Yes Melanie, selling a house is LOTS of work! But, don't let the realtor get you down--You decorate for YOU! I always wished I could go to the realtors house and tell them what I think of THEIR decorating! Seeing your craft work, I can only imagine how lovely your home is! This project is no exception! Good luck with your sale!

Oh WOW! Your card is Gorgeous! LOVE those Colors! And I know what you mean about the realitor! I've sold 2 houses and the first one was the easiest because all the walls were white! Hubby never got around to painting them after 5 yrs.! sold it within a week! Second house I had some crazy color scheme going on and took several months to sell! It was much more difficult... but we got it sold eventually! Don't let it stress you out... Just relax and go with the flow of things... Just keep slowly boxing things up.... the less you have out the better chance of someone buying it.... I was always told to put away all my photos and things because buyers want to picture themselves in the house not pictures of your family! So make sure you do that too! :o) I hope everything goes smoothly for ya & that it sells quickly! :o)

Love the colors on it. would not think to use those colors in a card. Why? have no idea. But maybe the pattern? But it looks great on a card so I guess I will have to start thinking outside my small box. TFS

We bought our first house this past August. Thank goodness we were able to be the critical party! You are a brilliant designer...it's just that the creativity and adventure that turns your cards into art, doesn't necessarily translate into the home!

viThankfully I haven't had to go through the selling process yet. And hopefully I wont for a long long time. Beautiful card. TFS.

Girl I know what your going through. I had a pink bathroom in my cali house and the people looked at me like I was crazy. Don't worry someone will enjoy that room the way you and your family did. Love the card, simple and beautiful. Thanks for all you do and share, God bless you and yours. 1205love@gmail.com

I am also selling my house, first time! And after 20 years of living here, it has been a lot of work. I really miss crafting as I haven't had time since November. Everything is packed away in order to paint the walls. Now to find a new house, with a craft room!! Thinking of you and our similar adventure! Loved the card and the stamp set!

my sister and I are both trying to sell our homes. The realtor went in her house and said its nice from the outside but not much in here is it(needless to say she didn't get the listing). Thanks for sharing.
