Baby bag made using the American Alphabet cartridge

Hello, friends!

This week I have a few bags that I made using the Cricut machine to show you. I remember thinking several months ago that there is no way that fabric would cut very well using the Cricut. However, after hearing Joy rave about her experience I decided to give it a whirl. Since then I cannot stop making bags! For one I love a good bag (what women doesn't?). Secondly, they are super cheap to buy at Hobby Lobby to decorate! When they are on sale they can be about $1.50 per bag.

For those of you who have not ventured into cutting fabric with the Cricut here is a link to a tutorial I did showing you just how easy it is. Click here ==> FABULOUS Cutting Fabric with your Cricut Tutorial

For this bag I used the American Alphabet cartridge that comes installed in the E2.

I cut all of the circles using the American Alphabet cartridge at 3". Then I added the blue ribbon using a hot glue gun (just because I am using fabric does not mean I have made friends with my sewing machine yet ;-))

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with another bag! Also, this Thursday is Hello Thursday, so make sure you come by to see what NEW stuff Provo Craft has up their sleeve!

Cute bag. With twin granddaughters, I am always needing new totes. After all it's two of everything you have to lug around with them. I always forget about the four carts that came with our E2 machines. Must revisit them. They really had some great stuff on them.

The Art Philosphy cartridge interests me....here's my question though about the stamps. Are they high quality photopolymer or just clear stamps. I don't have very good luck with quality images from those stamps which aren't the high quality photopolymer.
