Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge Out of This World Pop-up card

Hello, friends! 

Today, I have a card made using the Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. It is one of those cards that can be used for just about anyone. It is not too girly and not too masculine. This card would even be great as an invitation to a kids party or valentines for your child's class. 

When I made this card there was a lot of hide contour, so I could get a variety of colors for the planets and stuff on the inside. I did not realize how big I made this card in Design Space until I started cutting it out. You can make it smaller if you like or keep it this size. It will still send in the post, you will just have to pay a little extra for postage.

Masculine birthday card made using the Groovy Times cartridge

Hello, friends!

Happy Monday, everyone! Today I have a card that I made for the Bitten By the Bug weekly challenge using the Groovy Times cartridge and a few Close To My Heart stamps.

As you all know, I really struggle with making masculine stuff. However, my 10 year old thought this was "cool", so I'm happy with it.

I used the first stamp set shown below to make the tire marks and the second for the sentiment. The background with the gears and stars was made using stickers from the paper pack (Echo Park Boy's Life) I used. I just kind of scattered them around.

Masculine birthday card

Hello, friends!

 

Today is my middle brother's 30th birthday, so I made him this card. It worked perfectly with this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 challenge. 

This week's challenge called for a birthday card with numbers on it. I used the Frightful Affair cartridge for the numbers and Birthday Bash for the 'it's your birthday' lettering. Who knew these cards would go together so well? I love when that happens!

Now, the patterned paper is a retired paper pack that I really loved called L8TR SK8TR. The colors are so bright and cheerful, but masculine. I am not great at making masculine cards, but this paper makes it a little easier to do.

Happy Birthday dad card made using the Southwest cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card made using the NEW Southwest cartridge. I am not usually into the southwest style despite being born and raised in Texas and being American Indian. However, I tried to look at this cartridge and more geometric and ended up liking it quite a bit. This cartridge ended up feeling masculine. This was perfect because I needed to make a birthday card for my dad.

This is the stamp set I used for the 'dad' portion. It is called Perfect Fit - Dad. This stamp set coordinates with the Artiste cartridge.

The cardstock used is from Close To My Heart.
