Happy Birthday dad card made using the Southwest cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card made using the NEW Southwest cartridge. I am not usually into the southwest style despite being born and raised in Texas and being American Indian. However, I tried to look at this cartridge and more geometric and ended up liking it quite a bit. This cartridge ended up feeling masculine. This was perfect because I needed to make a birthday card for my dad.

CCR file: https://www.box.com/s/16inihu3p0oppcrjyxzy
GYPSY file: https://www.box.com/s/rwg9s98m2nin0xifxgos

This is the stamp set I used for the 'dad' portion. It is called Perfect Fit - Dad. This stamp set coordinates with the Artiste cartridge.

The cardstock used is from Close To My Heart.

Thanks for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with another project made using the Simple Cards cartridge.

This week's giveaway is a Anna Griffin cuttlebug folder bundle! There is a total of 8 folders (4 border, 5" x 7", and 2 A2).

To win:
1) Follow this blog or subscribe via email.
2) Leave a comment under one or all posts this week for maximum chances. See HERE if you don't know how to leave a comment.

Now don't forget that about the AWESOME March Hostess Rewards special. Don't have enough for a $250 order? No problem! Just see if you can round up orders from friends and then you can be the hostess. If you have interested friends, but need catalogs for them, let me know. I will give everyone in your 'party' a free catalog. This is a good chance to get a bunch of free stuff, so don't miss this opportunity!

 March specials!
Hostesses earn more rewards in March because when a Gathering reaches $250 or more in sales, the hostess jumps up to the next Hostess Rewards and Hostess Rewards Plus! levels. Now that’s a reason to jump for joy!
*Shipping/handling and tax applies. Only Gatherings with a total of $250 or more will qualify for the jump in Hostess Rewards or Hostess Rewards Plus!. Qualifying hostesses will receive Hostess Rewards from one level only—the level that is one higher than their sales total.
Dates: Offer valid March 1–31, 2013.

Get this Stamp of the Month set for just $5 (S1303A) when you place an order of $50 or more.

The way you used the southwest cartridge, it doesn't have much of a southwest look, mostly just geometric. Great idea for someone who really doesn't like the southwest look. Love the folders. Thanks for the chance to win.

Love your card, love the simplicity of the design, I don't really like the theme of the cartridge eighter but I actually liked some of the designs on it, I was going to cut a bunch of designs when it was free in the craft room, but never found the time. It does make some great masculine cards.
