Cricut Artfully Sent Easter card

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent my weekend playing nursemaid to my puppy dog. In fact, I ended up not even getting to Houston for the Close To My Heart event. Fingers crossed the latest blood panel they are doing points to a cause! 

Today's, project is yet another I made for the Bitten By the Bug blog. This week we were asked to make a project with an Easter theme. I for sure wanted to use the Penelope paper pack since it has an Easter theme. 

To make this card, I used the Artfully Sent cartridge. The image I used was meant to be one piece. I sliced it, so I could pop it on top of a card base.

If you do not have a Cricut Explore, I cut it out at 3 3/4".

Cricut Warm Wishes mittens card

Hello, friends!

Today, I am hosting the challenge over at the Bitten By the Bug blog. For my challenge, I chose winter hats, mittens, or scarves. It is that time of the year where we all are wearing layers and doing what we can to stay warm. Yes, even here in Texas we are wearing coats and gloves! Anyway, I thought it would be a fun challenge.

For this card, I used Artfully Sent, Jolly Holidays, and used a free font called Meddon (download for free by clicking here). I used the 'slice' feature and cut out the shapes. This gives extra interest and some depth. Obviously, you do not have to do that to make this card.
