Cricut Candy Corn Bat card

Cricut Candy Corn Bat card

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent my weekend cleaning my eleven year old's room while he was at his dad's house. My son is a little bit of a piglet. This is something I really hope he out grows. Seriously, ladies! I found food under his bed. YUCK!

Today's card is one I made for the Bitten By the Bug blog. This week's challenge called for a project using a bat. I did a quick search on Design Space and found this cute little bat with a candy corn body. How in the world had I missed this? It is a cut from the Creative Holiday Cards cartridge. Who knew?

I figured my bat needed a place to sit on. I had already decided to use my Tasty Terrors stamp set and it coordinates with Artfully Sent. This made my choice easy as I wanted to use the coordinating shapes.

Here is what the Tasty Treats stamp set looks like. I think it is a Halloween crafting must have!

Tasty Treats

This card will conclude my Halloween projects for the year, so those of you who are not fans of the holiday can rejoice!

Cricut Creative Holiday Spring Tulip card.

Today I have a card made using the Creative Holiday Cards. You guys know how much I love flowers and somehow I must have missed this beauty when this cartridge came out a year or so ago. Anyway, as with any of these types of cartridges it is super simple to make something very cute, very quickly. I did have to add my own flair though!

Again I used patterned paper and cardstock from the Ariana paper pack. Someone needs to stop me. I just love this one so much!

For the sentiment I just made a little banner by cutting a narrow strip of white cardstock. Then, I stamped in the center using Juniper ink and the Hoppy Easter stamp set. Next, I scored the paper on either side of the stamped sentiment folded it back and then forward again to make the banner shape. You can made the little duck tail ends with scissors or a square punch.

You can never have too much happy!

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card that I truly loved making. This card is a card from the Creative Holiday Cards cartridge and a stamp set from the Laughing Lola card making kit. I have pictures of the really cool stamp set below. It coordinates with the Artiste cartridge and is a total keeper! Just for the 'hugs' stamp alone, I had to get the kit!

*edited to add - This entire card except for the stamped sentiment is a 'stock' card from the Creative Holiday Cards cartridge.
