Hello, friends!
I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent my weekend cleaning my eleven year old's room while he was at his dad's house. My son is a little bit of a piglet. This is something I really hope he out grows. Seriously, ladies! I found food under his bed. YUCK!
Today's card is one I made for the Bitten By the Bug blog. This week's challenge called for a project using a bat. I did a quick search on Design Space and found this cute little bat with a candy corn body. How in the world had I missed this? It is a cut from the Creative Holiday Cards cartridge. Who knew?
I figured my bat needed a place to sit on. I had already decided to use my Tasty Terrors stamp set and it coordinates with Artfully Sent. This made my choice easy as I wanted to use the coordinating shapes.
Here is what the Tasty Treats stamp set looks like. I think it is a Halloween crafting must have!
This card will conclude my Halloween projects for the year, so those of you who are not fans of the holiday can rejoice!
If you have an Explore, here is the file: Cricut Candy Corn Bat card
If you do not, here are the sizes:
bat - 1 1/4"
ticket shape - 1 1/2" and 1 3/4"

GIRL YOU so ROCK!!
Like the Bat with Candy Corn body. Just made the Bat shaped card using Artiste. The food under the bed story is yucky. Not sure but I'm guessing this may be a boy thing. My daughter never did this thank goodness.

Love the bat! As for food in the bedroom,,,,,No! Little girls would never leave it under the bed! We have the sense to hide our goodies in dresser drawers! The better the treat, the further in the drawer it goes to keep sisters from finding it! ;)
This is really cute! You find the best cuts!
This is such a cute idea to use the candy corn for the bat's body. Your paper choices and card design are awesome! I love your halloween card!
I so love your candy corn bat Melanie!!! It is adorable! And I love the layers! :)
