Trick or Treat card made using the NEW Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card made using the NEW Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge. This is definitely one of my favorites of the October release. From reading your comments, I could tell this was one that peaked your interests as well.

I really love the look of rosettes, but they can be hard to make. This cartridge makes it so much easier! The little strips are scored to make folding a snap.

I used DCWV paper and Close To My Heart cardstock.
I cut 7 strips at 1 1/2" and connected them together for the rosette. The spider was cut out at 3".
I used a retired Close To My Heart stamp for the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check back in tomorrow because I have yet another project made using the new cartridges!

Very cute! Love the rosette! I have found it is much easier to work with scrapbook paper than cardstock. The paper works perfect and becomes quite firm when assembled. Thank you for sharing!

cute card. I went to buy the ribbons and rosette cartridge as I can use the ribbons and rosettes for my cards and they informed me it was not for sale. Do only certain people get these? If so, would you make it one of your prizes and chose me to win?

very clever how you made that rosette resemble a spiderweb! I'm really wanting that cart, too. And even your bow softened my general aversion to spiders!

Your card turned out great! I tried making a rosette last night...it's a pain when you don't have a scoreboard!

Cute card! Art Philosophy really made rosettes popular, so it seems to be a hot trend in papercrafting now. Nice that we have an entire cartridge to make them...plus you get a cool border too.

The rosette for the spider "web" is so clever. Good to know about the scoring of the rosettes too!
