Scary pumpkin halloween card made using the Cricut Happy Hauntings cartridge.

Hello, friends! Today I have a fun card that I made using the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge and the SEI 'Spooks' paper line.

Now I know what you are thinking. You are sitting there saying "Melanie, when would I ever need to send a Halloween card?". I totally get where you are coming from on this, ladies. However, there is so much pretty Halloween paper and cricut images out there. How can we only use these awesome images for scrapbook layouts or altered items? I say to you cardmakers we too can make Halloween cards and we will use them as thank you cards! At least that is my story and I'm gonna stick to it (wink)!

The pumpkin was cut at 1 1/2". It cut out small like a dream!!
I layered the scallop from the cartridge in black at 2 3/4" and a Martha Stewart medallion. I love how this turned out.
I got this clear sticker on clearance at JoAnn's. I am so going back and looking for more of these!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Such a cute card. Once in a great while I send out cards for different holidays and always get raves from the recipients. Makes it truely worth it. Another thought is to make these cards for teachers and special children you buy treats for.
Thanks for sharing.

I make Halloween cards every year and send them to my grown children and my grandson. Why not? They're just a fun way to show I'm thinking of them. And I can't resist the cool papers and embellishments!

So So cute. I enjoy seeing the cards you do. The neat thing is if you don't want to make a card you could always use the same idea on a scrapbook page. I really like the line of pumpkins on the inside too.

Love the feel of this card. The paper used doesn't have to be just halloween, it could be used for anything. It really gives a wonderful fall feeling. Cutting the pumpkin without a face would also give it a fall theme. My favorite is the medallion thou. I just really liked this card.
