Let Your Dreams Take Flight

Hello, friends!

I hope you enjoyed the Ustream last night! We have so much fun doing them! How many of you bought the Cricut Cake? I am so excited about seeing what everyone does with the machine!

On to the card...

I bought some homemade embellishments from Michelle Wooderson's Etsy shop. I just love everything she does!

Anyway, the stamped sentiment, button, and scalloped border were in the kit. You can make the border though using your Plantin' Schoolbook cartridge.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

OMG I just love this card, the butterfly is so precious!

My mother passed away unexpectedly during a routine outpatient test a few years ago and her favorite was the Monarch so whenever I see a butterfly while I'm out working in the yard I know it's just a little hello from above, and seeing this card today just kinda brougt tears for her birthday was on 4/1 and we always spent April talking about what we were going to divide in our gardens and share.

If she were still here she'd be a gaga with what I have found in the line of Cricut vice the old fashioned cards I used to make and share w/her as well as pages for our books.

Again, thank you for sharing this, and allowing me to wander down memory lane!
