here's the thing...

Hello, friends!

There is not a video for today. I am getting my house painted and it was way more of a hindrance to daily life than I thought it was going to be.

Here is an example of what I am talking about.

We do not even have a sofa to sit on at the moment. We are all hold up in the master bedroom at the moment, but that is going to change today. There is a lesson here, folks. Try to paint your house before you move in or do one room at a time. Doing it all at once, may not be the way to go. Just sayin'. On the upside, you guys are going to get a good post with craft room pics once it is all done!

I will be back up and running with a regular post tomorrow as the project is made.

Now just because I don't have a regular post up, I would be remiss to not remind you all about my special that ends in three days!

Thank goodness for plastic protection. Hubby was sanding & painting the ceiling in kitchen to repair the foundation crack now that foundation work was done 1 yr ago and I come home and find he has not put any plastic or drop cloths down. There was dust everywhere including on my dishes I had washed & not put away. He was in the dog house for some time but I love that he is handy and we do not have to pay someone to do this kind of work and he usually does the plastic & drop cloth thing but just did not this time. We had a 10' x 12' Tuff Shed from Home Depot built in our backyard. Hubby did most of the ground prep work by removing the wood fort & swing set. I moved the rocks & also held the beams of the fort as he sawed so they would not fall on him or fence. 2 guys came shortly after 10:30am yesterday and were finished before 1:30pm. The shed comes prefab built.

I can only imagine the inconvenience of having your entire home painted at once. It's a beautiful home--love the kitchen! And I can't wait to see your craft room.

It might be an inconvenience but how exciting to have the whole house refreshed and brightened up at the same time! Love all the drop clothes and how well they have covered everything up. (Are they going to spray or roll the paint on? lol)

Can't wait to see the finished result. (Love the pretty blue in your craft room!)

Good luck! :)
