Cricut Beach Day card

Cricut Beach Day card
Fancy Card Friday
Hello, my friends!

Today, I have a card that took a bit of slicing and dicing via Cricut Design Space to make. That is one of the things that is so great about using that program. Images used to be somewhat limiting, but now there is so much you can do.

For this card, I used (believe it or not) the Bag Toppers - Summer cartridge for the sand, bucket, and shovel. The is a great cut, but I did not want to make a bag topper. To me, this cut had lots of potential beyond bag topping.

After I sliced the cut to make it the way I wanted it, I needed another element. To me, a beach ball would be the perfect thing to make this beach scene complete. The perfect one was found on the Pack Your Bags cartridge

I found a cute stamp set to top off this card in the Seaside Workshop on the Go kit. I masked it, so I could make it multicolored. Stamps really come alive when you do this.

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the cut file: Cricut Beach Day card

If you do not have a Cricut Explore, this card will be a little more tricky for you, but can be done. Here are the sizes:
Beach Ball - 1/2"
Beach Scene - 3 1/4"

Wonderful beach fun layout for this card.
I created the shaped watermelon card w/ score line & want to know if it is ok to post the public file here & on your post of the watermelon shaped card? Please respond here & I'll ck back.
My file has the pieces all on one mat so if anyone needs details as to what the pieces are in order on the mat to get the colors and I get the green light to post the file I'll provide my email if you cannot find it on my blog for help.

Created the Beach Scene card. Had a bit of difficulty knowing what size cardstock to use for the different pieces on different mats due to the screen not easy to count the inch markers when it is in the cut display screen mode. Do you have any tips or help as to what to do to make it easier to determine the size of each cardstock piece? I'll post the Beach Scene Card soon. I posted the shaped watermelon card today.
