Christmas tags and bags made using the Winter Woodland cartridge.

  Hello, friends!

Ok, today I have some tags and a gift bag for you. I used the Winter Woodland cartridge on all the tags. The gift bag was cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More, but decorated using cuts from Winter Woodland.

All patterned paper used is from the  Close to My Heart 'Jingle' line that is unfortunately retired.

Lets start off with the bag.....

I cut the 12x24 Provo Craft paper, with my 12 x 24 mat using the fit to page feature. That way I could make it as big as possible. I scored it with my score pal. This was really easy to do because the machine cuts little tick marks to show me where the bag needs to be scored.

I then measured the sides with a ruler and cut the striped paper a 1/4" smaller length and width wise. I then adhered that with my atg gun. Then, I put the bag on it's side and traced the handles on some patterned paper. I hand cut and then adhered the paper to the handle.

I cut the layered pieces for the front at 4", 5", and 5 3/4" using the tag/shift feature key. The snowman was cut at 4 1/2".

The tag with the mittens was cut out using the 'winter wonderland' tag feature. It was cut at 4". Then with a white piece of card stock I cut out the solid tag using the tag/shift at 4".

I then cut out the lettering in the middle with a craft knife.

Next, I adhered the 2 pieces together. I cut the gloves at 4". The tag was stamped with the Close to My Heart stamps sets 'Small Chocolate Alphabet' and 'Holiday Jingle'(holiday jingle will be available September 1st). Ribbons used were also from Close to My Heart.

The poinsettia tag.....

was cut using the 'bird2' tag feature at 4'. The assembly of this tag is exactly the same as the same as the first tag. The poinsettia was cut at 3".

The final tag......
