Christmas tags and bags made using the Winter Woodland cartridge.

  Hello, friends!

Ok, today I have some tags and a gift bag for you. I used the Winter Woodland cartridge on all the tags. The gift bag was cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More, but decorated using cuts from Winter Woodland.

All patterned paper used is from the  Close to My Heart 'Jingle' line that is unfortunately retired.

Lets start off with the bag.....

I cut the 12x24 Provo Craft paper, with my 12 x 24 mat using the fit to page feature. That way I could make it as big as possible. I scored it with my score pal. This was really easy to do because the machine cuts little tick marks to show me where the bag needs to be scored.

I then measured the sides with a ruler and cut the striped paper a 1/4" smaller length and width wise. I then adhered that with my atg gun. Then, I put the bag on it's side and traced the handles on some patterned paper. I hand cut and then adhered the paper to the handle.

I cut the layered pieces for the front at 4", 5", and 5 3/4" using the tag/shift feature key. The snowman was cut at 4 1/2".

The tag with the mittens was cut out using the 'winter wonderland' tag feature. It was cut at 4". Then with a white piece of card stock I cut out the solid tag using the tag/shift at 4".

I then cut out the lettering in the middle with a craft knife.

Next, I adhered the 2 pieces together. I cut the gloves at 4". The tag was stamped with the Close to My Heart stamps sets 'Small Chocolate Alphabet' and 'Holiday Jingle'(holiday jingle will be available September 1st). Ribbons used were also from Close to My Heart.

The poinsettia tag.....

was cut using the 'bird2' tag feature at 4'. The assembly of this tag is exactly the same as the same as the first tag. The poinsettia was cut at 3".

The final tag......

Santa gift/treat bag made using the Tags, Bags, Boxes, and more cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a box made using the Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cartridge, Winter Woodland cartridge, and a 12" x 24" mat. I actually came up with the idea of this while trying to sleep. Sometimes my mind just goes crazy with project ideas while I am supposed to be sleeping!

First, I cut the bag using a 12 x 24 mat using ProvoCraft 12 x 24 paper. I just want to say that if you have this cartridge, I think the 12 x 24 mat is a must. I like making the bags as big as possible. This bag stands about 8" tall, so it is a nice size.

I cut it at 11 1/2" using my tags, bags, boxes, and more cartridge(page 131). The 'buckle' was cut using Winter Woodland (page 34) using the shadow feature. Then using my DS I put the square(base + shift) smack dab in the middle of the cut. This made the scalloped square more like a buckle. I then stamped it with a stamp from the Vintage Christmas set by Waltzing Mouse. Then I added a few little plastic holly leaves I got from Hobby Lobby in the holiday section.

The tag was cut using the Winter Woodland cartridge using the cut on page 44 in your handbook at 4". Then I trimmed a square piece of paper to go in the center and adhered it to the tag. 'Santa' was cut using Don Juan at 3/4". 'Cookies' was cut using From My Kitchen at 1". The actual cookie was cut fromt he same cartridge at 2".

The ribbon handle was just made using the slot punk and ribbon from SU!. The paper used for the tag is from the Christmas Imaginisce line called 'Polar Expressions'.
