dutch wooden shoe thank you card made using the Folk Art Festival cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Well, I have internet again and could not be happier! It made me have even more compassion for those in New York and New Jersey. At least I still had electricity! There was one good thing though. I did not have to watch political ads for two days. Those silly things have been wearing me out, so the break from them was more than just a little needed!

I forgot to mention in this week's previous post that it was so nice to meet those of you who came to the garage sale. Meeting fans of the blogs has always been one of my favorite things! You guys are so sweet and some of the best blog followers there is!

Not everything was sold at the garage sell, so I am thinking about posting items on this blog to sell. I have ten tons of stamps though, so I am trying to think how would be the best way to do it.

Today's card is made using the Folk Art Festival cartridge. I have to say I really like this one. As I have said before, I am a sucker for dutch themed things and this is chocked full of those kinds of beautiful cuts!

I used the cuttlebug and a die to make the diamond background.
The stamp used for the sentiment is from Close To My Heart and is called Casual Expressions.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I have made one of the shaped cards that you can made using this cartridge. I will be posting it this week, so check back in with me!

I really like the card and the cartridge. The lettertype on that cartridge does also feel very dutch. There's only one problem. we don't have a michaels in the netherlands......

What an cool card. i've been making thankyou cards for the people who helped us when Mom was in the hospital...and so far have kept it simply to a tag...like the ribbon. Thanks for sharing.

I love the colors you chose and the shoe and sentiment are so nice together! Awesome bow, too! TFS!
Glad things are "back to normal". I know what you mean about being grateful for what you have. It looks like another nasty storm is going to hit the northeast and that can't be very helpful right now. Praying for all who live there and those who are working to get life back to normal in the area!
