Cricut You Are Wonderful Cherry card

Hello, friends!

Cricut You Are Wonderful Cherry card
This week's Bitten By the Bug challenge called for a shaped card. Again, I was a rudderless vessel and had no idea what to do. That is until I once again searched for 'shaped cards' in Cricut Design Space. I came across this cut from Folk Art Festival and knew this was the one!

When it was time to add a sentiment to this card, I knew which stamp set I wanted to use. However, I had no idea where to put it on the front of the card. Then, I came across this banner and knew it would be perfect! It is from the Tiny Treasures cartridge.

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file for this card: Cricut You Are Wonderful Cherry card

If you do not have a Cricut Explore, I cut the card out at 5" (Folk Art Festival) and the banner out at 3/4" (Tiny Treasures).

Easter Wishes card made using the Folk Art Festival

Hello, friends!

I received a few questions about my Friday card's background, so I thought I would clear it up. I used a die from Papertrey Ink with my Anna Griffin Cuttlebug! Love my cuttlebug! Here is the link for the Quarterfoil die ==> https://www.papertreyink.com/pti-dies/papertrey-ink-cover-plate-quatrefoil-die/

Also, did you guys know that they are selling the Anna Griffin cuttlebug folders on Cricut.com? Well, they are! If you did not get your paws on some of them when HSN was selling them I recommend getting them now as they are FABULOUS!

It's Monday, so that means it is Bitten By The Bug 2 challenge day! Today's theme is bunnies, so I made this sweet little card using the Folk Art Festival cartridge, the Matalasse Anna Griffin cuttlebug folder, and the Easter Wishes stamp set (which coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge).

Merci shaped card made using the Folk Art Festival cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a shaped card from the Folk Art Festival cartridge. Now just so you all know, this cartridge can only be purchased from Michael's. To my knowledge Provo Craft will NOT be carrying this one for a while if ever. If you are really wanting this one and do not have a Michael's close by, I would see if there is some one on the cricut message board who would pick one up for you. Alternatively you could check out e-bay.

Cartridges that  have shaped cards are always a friend of mine! It just does not get easier, folks! You just add your stamped sentiment and it is ready to go!

dutch wooden shoe thank you card made using the Folk Art Festival cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Well, I have internet again and could not be happier! It made me have even more compassion for those in New York and New Jersey. At least I still had electricity! There was one good thing though. I did not have to watch political ads for two days. Those silly things have been wearing me out, so the break from them was more than just a little needed!

I forgot to mention in this week's previous post that it was so nice to meet those of you who came to the garage sale. Meeting fans of the blogs has always been one of my favorite things! You guys are so sweet and some of the best blog followers there is!

Not everything was sold at the garage sell, so I am thinking about posting items on this blog to sell. I have ten tons of stamps though, so I am trying to think how would be the best way to do it.

Today's card is made using the Folk Art Festival cartridge. I have to say I really like this one. As I have said before, I am a sucker for dutch themed things and this is chocked full of those kinds of beautiful cuts!

I used the cuttlebug and a die to make the diamond background.
The stamp used for the sentiment is from Close To My Heart and is called Casual Expressions.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I have made one of the shaped cards that you can made using this cartridge. I will be posting it this week, so check back in with me!
