dolphin beach bag made using the Whales and Dolphins cartridge.

Hello, friends!

I hope you are all having a great week so far. Not much to report here except still trying to get this house ready to sell. Now we are getting estimates for new carpet. I really did not want to have to do that because it means that I will have to pack up my craft room. I think I will have to go to bare minimum in the craft room until we move. This seems more than a little overwhelming to me because no doubt whatever I pack up I will most certainly need for some project. Sigh. What would you keep if you had to seriously pare down your craft space?

Today's project is made using my expression and the Whales and Dolphins cartridge. I thought the cute little dolphin cut would make a great beach bag!

Here is the Cricut Craft Room file: http://www.box.com/s/luei6ta3szloy5cc49ty

The beautiful ribbon is from Webster's Pages. I would love this type of ribbon in ever color of the rainbow!
 Thanks for stopping by!

February Specials
The February stamp of the month is called Thoughtful Tidings and coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge. As usual it is $17.95 if purchased alone or only $5 with any purchase of $50 or more!

Have a great day!

that is a super cute bag!!! You make the cutest things!!! Hang in there with the craft room. I had too pack mine up for awhile when we were adding rooms to the house for foster care and my space was needed asap & my new space was farther done the list on getting done. It wasn't my favorite time, but I did get thru and now my new space is better than ever before. Look forward to hoe awesome your new space will be and how you are planning to set it up, it will help I promise!!! And alot of please Lord, give me patience prayers!!!!

I have to keep my craft space pared down because it is so small. So no stamps, do it all on the computer. No dies, use your Cricut, and only the paper that will fit in one file. Hope that helps.

So adorable! Love the rose ribbon you added. Packing up a bunch of your stuff when you still need it is hard. I would say to pack in clear plastic containers and label everything very well. If you do need something maybe you can find it, use it and put it back in storage. (If your storing your stuff in the garage or something)Good luck!

Yikes! We moved out-of-state in August, and I went through craft withdrawal too. Fortunately, we were packing everything up to go, no staging needed. I packed everything, BUT:
Cricut
Gypsy
cutting mat
ATG
paper trimmer
white cardstock/favorite pattern paper stack
brown stamp pad
cup with scissors, tweezers, bone folder, cricut spatula
My desk was ALWAYS neat and tidy, and I still had enough to be able to create with. When it was time to move,it was easy to pack these basics in a tote bag. (Except for the Cricut, which went into it's original box.) Good luck!

CUTE bag! I too LOVE that ribbon and would use it on EVERYTHING!
My husband works out of town and we have an apartment there. I have a "minimal" craft stash which by most accounts is large. A cutter, my old Big Shot, my baby bug, basic stamps & ink pads, just a basic set-up. I take my gypsy & my growing stash of PTI dies with me. I can do a LOT!
Thanks for sharing. I hope your house sells soom!

Love the beach bag! I think I really shoudl make something like this for my daughter so she can have her own beach bag and stay out of mine lol. OMG if I had to choose what to keep argh tough one! I think what I would do is basically put together a travel type case with just a small amount of everything. And make all that everything be as universal as possible. Then of course you will also need your cricut and your cuttlebug.

I love dolphins so that bag is just perfect for me. I will send you my address so that you can send it to me. LOL. Seriously I would allow the carpeting price into the price of the house but would not put new carpeting in. Had friends that put new carpeting in because realtor said they should and ended having to give reduction as new owners wanted different carpeting. Check that out with realtors.

wow that is such a neat beach bag. I agree with the clear containers and labeling well... I would have to have my Expression, printer, computer and of course paper and one paper trimmer. I do have all my 12x12 paper in boxes... one color per box like all the purple colors in a purple box and they are stackable. My heart goes out to you because it will not be easy but think of the future in your new home!!!! Good Luck!!!

I couldn't even imagine paring down my craftroom. EEK!! I feel for you. Just keep out your Double Dot paper and you will be fine! :)
Good luck with the moving.

I'm in agreement with another post - I would not replace carpet. It's a huge expense and I don't think it will pay you back. The new owners are going to want their own choice. Just pay for a good cleaning job!
