Joy bag made using the Lacy Labels cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a handmade gift that I made Joy for her birthday. Recently I have discovered how well the Cricut cuts fabric and been just cutting away. Who knew it would cut fabric so well! I feel as if I am late to the party.

When designing the bag I knew it needed to say Joy. I looked through all of the Joy cuts and found this one on Lacy Labels.
The black canvas was purchased at Hobby Lobby.
I cut the shape out at 10 1/2". I then added the extra doily by using a Papertrey Ink die and my cuttle bug.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Don't forget that we are doing Hello Thursday this Thursday! I have some wonderful things to show you!!

PEACE, LOVE, AND CRAFTS!

Cute bag! Question though... what settings did you use on the Cricut? I have attempted to cut fabric several times, but always end up frustrated b/c the fabric doesn't ever seem to cut very well. I haven't found the right settings yet! :-(
