Hello, friends!
Today, I have a layout that I made using a couple of cartridges and another free font from the inter webs. I know that sometimes it is frustrating that I use multiple cartridges. The thing is, when I design I typically have something in my head. Typically, one cartridge will not cover everything that is needed for the design. However, you can always alter the file on your end to meet your needs and include cartridges you already own.
For this scrapbook layout I used Country Life (for the strawberry), Birthday Bash ('berry' and the scalloped circle), and a font called KG Eyes Wide Open ('sweet' get for FREE here).
The paper pack I used for this layout is the Taste of Summer. Ladies, this paper pack is so beautiful and fun. You definitely should get your paws on this while it is still in stock. It is only supposed to be available until the end of the month, but could sell out before then.
If you have an Explore, here is the file: Cricut Berry Sweet Scrapbook Layout
If you do not have an Explore, here are the sizes:
scalloped circle (Birthday Bash) - 4"
'berry' (Birthday Bash) - 1/2"
strawberry (Country Life) - 1 3/4"
'sweet' (KG Eyes Wide Open) - 3/4"
I love making my own journaling boxes. I was able to do this by using the lines from the Documenting Memories stamp set. I also made my own strawberry embellishments with the Taste of Summer stamp set. I used a border strip from the Brushed compliments to look like a piece of washi tape. |
Again, I used the Taste of Summer stamp set to make strawberry embellishments. Also, the three little circles are stickers from the Brushed compliments set. |
This text box was made using the Documenting moments stamp set. |

LOVE the scrapbook LO and love all the papers in this paper pack...just works so well with summer for both LOs and cards. I hope, Melanie, you and your family are safe and not adversely affected by the flooding in the Dallas area.
