Simple, but elegant Sympathy card

Hello, friends!
Simple, but elegant Sympathy card
Today, I have a card that I made for the Bitten By the Bug challenge. This week's challenge called for a Sympathy card. I typically do not make these in advance as I don't want to tempt fate and have to use it. Universe, pay no attention to this card! Keep all of my friends and their families safe!

Ok, let's talk about this card. I made it using Artfully Sent and Art Philosophy cartridges. If you use the file I provided, you will not have to figure out the pieces that go behind wreath. If you do not have an Explore, I would cut a piece of green paper to fit and use circles for the flowers. Stick the circles on the backside and then add the green piece. I would also add a white piece to cover that, so the recipient does not see the green paper.

If you have an Explore, here is the file: Sympathy card file

If you do not have an Explore, here are the sizes:
wreath card (Artfully Sent) - 5.5"
Oval (Art Philosophy) - 1.5"

So gentle and sweet! I love the way you added in the colours for the dainty little blossoms on the sprays of leaves. The ribbon really adds a lovely touch to raise the sentiment up.
Thanks for sharing this lovely design! :)

Pretty card...love the colors. Sympathy cards are ones I don't have many of on hand, but usually need quickly. This is an idea I will keep to use (hopefully not soon).

Beautiful card! Is the wreath card in the Artfully Sent or Art Philosophy cartridge? I'm assuming the oval is in the other one.

This is a beautiful sympathy card Melanie! I know what you mean about not tempting fate. I love the colors you used on this card, so pretty and serene and yet simplicity is what makes this card work so well. Hugs, Brenda

I figure sympathy cards are like umbrellas - if I bring an umbrella, then it won't rain... so if I have cards ready, then I won't need them. This one is lovely!

What a beautiful card Melanie, you are so gifted.
I have a question, when you give the file name of the card for the explore how would I get to it on the Explore ? Just ordered an Explore and just learning all about it. Thanks so much.

I love this card. I'm a new cricut user and needed to make a sympathy card. Loved this design but I can't get the link to work. Is it still available?
