Today's iron on tee is made for my brother, Nevada, who is currently finishing up his engineering degree. I gave him lots of choices in images for his t-shirt and he wanted the symbol for Pi. This image is located on the Brooklyn Iron-On cartridge (on sale this week).
I kind of felt Pi all by itself would have made for a very boring t-shirt. Instead I wanted to add some whimsey by adding the slice of pie. This cut can be found on the From My Kitchen cartridge. To find the perfect equal sign I did a simple search in the Cricut Craft Room. The ones I ended up choosing was from Something To Celebrate.
The problem with making these tees is once your family realizes you can make them they start lining up. I now have my dad and baby brother putting in orders. Back to the craft room I go ;-)
I am getting the tutorial together. Look for it on the blog next week!

Your brother looks so proud! Thank you for sharing!
Love the t-shirt vinyl!
Great tee! You should be happy everyone is lining up to get one; their smiles make for a better model :)
Super Cute!
I've just this minute found out that it's available in the UK now!!! Yee hah!

Great shirt! He looks just like you!! Good luck with all those orders..don't forget to make us a tutorial if you have the time!!
Clever, Courtney. Good luck, Nevada, on finishing your degree.
I can see where everyone would want you to make them a shirt too. What a fun and relatively easy way to make such a great personalized gift.
What a great idea to add the pie. Your brother seems really pleased with his T-Shirt you created for him:-)
Cool idea, love the shirts.
I know I'm just going to have to try this T-shirt thing. So cute!
Love the play on words! Great idea! I have not tried iron on vinyl but have the supplies. I don't know what I am waiting for. LOL.
My husband would love this shirt!
What a cute shirt but I have lots of relatives and not a lot of time. LOL. I will have to get the vinyl and try it and learn to say NO to the relatives.
Another great t-shirt. Wait until your brother tells his buddies. They are going to ask him where he got that cool shirt. You'll have the whole school lined up. You'll need to buy your shirts in bulk!
LOL Thanks for a chance to win,
Mary O'Neal
That is adorable!! You are so creative and make such perfect gifts for your loved ones! Gotta try this!
Wish Cricut and iron vinyl were around when my kids were in school. I made many Pi day t-shirts back then the old fashoined way! Not nearly as nice looking as your brothers shirt!
What a clever design! You did a great job. Thanks for sharing!
Why a fun shirt! I'll have to check out the Brooklyn cartridge. The blue looks good on black too!
This is such a fun shirt for that mathematician in your life (my husband is a total science geek! LOL). Very nice!
i haven't tried anything vinyl yet...i'm just too chicken.
I am married to an engineer and 2 of my boys are engineers--love this shirt.
Love the T-shirt...good play on words. I can't wait to see the tutorial because you've got me interested in trying this. Thanks.
Great shirt! Gonna have to make one someday. Thanks!!!
I can see the resemblance between you and your brother. Such great smiles...and a great shirt!
Love the T, but the smile on your brothers face is the best!
Cute shirt! I'm going to have to try the iron on vinyl!
