cut, stamp, elevate revisted!

Hello, friends!

Since there are people who follow my blog now that did not last year, I thought I would re-post this tutorial as well. If you own the Artiste and/or Art Philosophy cartridges this tutorial is for you! I call it cut, stamp, and elevate! This will show you how to use your cricut cuts with your coordinating stamps and chipboard.

I want to show you the cut, stamp, and the chipboard piece (the elevate part). Now let me tell you something about this chipboard. It is super thick and would be tough to cut out using your cricut. I have cut this thickness before using the deep cut blade. My machine seriously struggled though and I never did it again. Luckily with these chipboard sheets, you don't have to cut thick chipboard! It is already done for you. FABULOUS! The top piece is the cut, the middle is the stamp itself, and the bottom piece is the chipboard.

I stamped the cut out and then adhere it to the chipboard and got this:

Now this birthday sentiment is from one of the other stamp sets that is included in the set. It fits perfectly. I also added a little bit of bling by using this liquid GLITZ in stardust. It is similar to stickles, but it dries nicer!

Now the second tutorial for the day is something similar, but it is made with other chipboard that you can buy. It coordinates with one of the stamp sets that you get with the cartridge bundle!

The star is cut out at 3" which makes it fit perfectly on top of the chipboard piece.

Then I stamped the star using the coordinating stamp set.

Then simply add it to the chipboard like before! I added some more GLITZ and inked the edges!

See how thick this chipboard is! AWESOME!!

Then I added a sentiment from the same stamp set! This will make a beautiful focal point for a Christmas card!

Ok my pretties, if you are interested in buying the ART PHILOSOPHY cartridge you can do so by clicking here ==> Melanie's Close To My Heart site

Also, I had a few people inquire about and join my Close To My Heart team yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by this. One of the sweet ladies felt she had to ask permission. So let it be known, if ANY of you are interested in joining my Close To My Heart team and be an independent consultant you are totally welcome to! If you have any questions about signing up please do not hesitate to ask!

I will be back here tomorrow with a project! See you all back here tomorrow!!

October Specials

Back by popular demand, I am giving away one E2 Cricut machine to a lucky customer. To be eligible to win, you have to place an order on my Close To My Heart website this month. That is it! I will draw a winner November 1st.

The October stamp of the month is a total must have! It is called Very Merry Christmas and coordinates with the Artiste cartridge, so if you have that cartridge you are going to want to snatch this up! It makes tag making a total snap!

As always, this stamp set (retail price of $17.95) is only $5 with any order of $50 or more!

Now don't forget that you can still buy the fabulous Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges, so if you have not taken the plunge yet, come on in the water is great!

Thanks for your tutorial. Being relatively new here and to your blog ( less than a year), I appreciate your review. You have shown me many many new techniques and ideas.

Thanks for revisiting the techniques. Sometimes we are so busy learning new things to do we forget about the ones we learned before. Love the sparkle or bling.
