Handmade Christmas present made using the Pet Shop cartridge and the Cricut Craft Room Banners exclusive.

Hello, friends!

My finals are over now, so I have much more time to make pretty things to inspire you all. What a relief! I have been so overloaded with things to do lately, it will be nice to have that all pared down a bit! However, I wish I could take a long winter's nap ;-)

Today's project is a Christmas present I made for my sometimes cantankerous grandma. She has two Boston terriers that she just adores, so when I saw the Boston terrier image on the Pet Shop cartridge I knew immediately that something was going to be made with it. The little puppies names are Honey and Sugar, which I think are great names! Now, she is impossible to please but I am hoping that she will actually like this. Fingers crossed!

Also, I used the Cricut Craft Room Exclusive Banners cartridge. I have to tell you, I filled up an entire 12" x 12" mat with these banners at various sizes for later. I just love these and am so happy to have as many as I want at whatever size I want! Don't you just love that!

I bought the frame at Target.
I cut the Boston's out at 4". I am not sure the size of the banner since it was cut on CCR. Since I am not as versed with CCR as I would like, I do not have a file yet to give you. As soon as I figure that out I will start posting them for you all to have!
I used a die and my trusty cuttlebug for the lettering.
Thanks so much for dropping by today! I will see you all back here tomorrow with some Christmas tags!

Very cute project! Pet shop is on my (evergrowing) wish list :D. One thing I really loved about CCR (before I had to delete it on advice of PC's customer service) was working with ALL the carts. I just haven't gotten around to trying it again because I've had so much to do lol.

This wall hanging is so cute!! I would love to make one of these too, but I don't think the cartridge has a German Shorthaired Pointer on it.
