Have a Holly Jolly Christmas using Accent Essential Cricut cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card made with one of my all time favorite cartridges. Accent Essentials is a fantastic must have cartridge that it a go to cartridge for me anytime I need a basic shape. This is a super easy card to throw together as well. The hardest part is threading the buttons.

I used Close To My Heart paper.
I cut the 'top note' shape at 1 3/4" and then again at 1 1/2".
The stamps are from Papertrey Ink.
Thanks for stopping by today, my friends! I look forward to seeing you back here tomorrow!!

Have a great day!!

Lovely card! Thanks for sharing!

I use that cut all the time. it is similar to the top note for the big shot but because we can cut it any size we like, better1

Very very simple, but yet the perfect patterned paper makes up for that. Nice touch adding the bling.

Melanie, I've been trying to click on the names of the cartridges in your blog (which are in blue) to take me to the Circut store and see the images. Is there something wrong with the links because I can't click on them anymore?

That's a beautiful card - TFS!

You said you had trouble threading the buttons. I heard just recently to cut a thin strip of cardstock, putting both ends of the paper from the front to the back, spread the paper to the outside and use a glue dot in the center of the button. Fold the paper back over the glue dot and use a glue dot to stick the button to your card.

What would I do if I didn't have you to point out those cuts that hide from all of us. I didn't even know that the top note shape was on this cartridge. I thought I was going to have to search for a way to cut it. Lovely card. TFS

Very pretty card. I just ordered this cart for my daughter for Christmas (it was hard to find at a good price)! She only had fonts & was interested in getting into basic shapes, so I thought of this one immediately!!

Love it. It looks so stress free. I think I need to just stop worrying about what paper, what cut and all the other stuff and just create. Thanks for all the wonderful projects you share.

Ok, this is a cart I've never heard of before. I really need to look through my gypsy to see what's out there. Nice simple card and good paper choice. I think it was worth the pain of threading the buttons because they just add so much to the card.

I haven't used the top note for anything other than a large frame. Thank you for opening up more possibilites. I just got stuck in a rut.
