I hope you all had wonderful weekends! I know I did. I swam in my mom's pool on Saturday and mainly relaxed on Sunday! It was wonderful!!
Now here we are on day 5 of the Hello Thursday project release and I am having tons of fun showing you what I have made using these fantastic cartridges. Also, I have more giveaways planned and today I am giving away the Nursery Rhymes cartridge! This is one of my favorites and all you have to do to win this cartridge is leave a comment on this post and make sure you are signed up to get email or follow this blog.
I have read recently on the Cricut Message Board that some people are not happy about the 'signing up as a follower' portion of the giveaway. If you do not want to participate in the giveaway you do not have to. It is completely up to you. Not all of my prizes are provided by a sponsor and I pay for shipping completely out of my pocket. I feel that following my blog to win something is at no cost to you is pretty good deal. Also the odds of winning one of my prizes are fairly high as I do not get as many comments as some other blogs. Either way it is your choice whether or not you want to participate. I hope you do though because the more the merrier!!
On to the card!
It was made using the new and fantastic Mini Monsters cartridge. I cut the little monster out at 2 1/2". The text was cut using the new Wall Decor and More which has a great random font. Which seems to be a culmination of several fonts.
I used Basic Grey paper an Core'dinations cardstock on the card. I also did a little bit of pen work with my white Signo Uniball pen.

I thought the issue wasn't about following/subscribing (maybe I missed that part), I thought it had more to do with the 'extra chances' posted on some blogs. Since not everyone has a blog, I think the option of following OR subscribing is quite fair. I think the issue came in when your chances go up/down based on if you facebook, twitter, post to your blog, etc.
Now... don't you guys ever get overwhelmed with all your cartridge choices?? LOL
I love being a follower of your blog! Something happened to my account and I noticed I am no longer following any of my favourite blogs. I am glad you said something about following because I wouldn't even have checked!! Wouldn't want to miss anything from any of the cricut gals!!! OK..first off, cute cute card!!! I didn't think I would be interested in this cart, but I'm thinking maybe I can talk my neighbor into getting it (she has a little guy, LOL) and borrow it..hehehe (we do that with each other's carts)
Now, for the second thingy...HUH? What's the deal with signing up as a follower? I actually become a bit perturbed if I can't find a subscribe button on a blog, because it is easier for me to get email alerts! I get confused by the dashboard thingy. I guess some people just need to complain about something. That's too bad, because they are really missing out! I don't always get to all the blogs I subscribe to, but it's nice to have an update when there is something posted. Just my 2 cents worth! And just so you know..you are very generous, as well as Joy, Tammy, and Robyn, plus quite a few others. I wish I was in the position to do the same, because it's so much fun to see the winner's reactions!
