card made with papertrey ink Dotty Biscotti paper

Hello, friends!!

I hope you are all having a delightful week! I, as you know, am studying like crazy this week. However, I get to have lunch tomorrow with two of my favorite people Joy and Bryan the ScrapGuy! We always have the best time together, so it will be a nice break from studying.

Anyway, on to the card....

I used Papertrey Ink throughout this card. For the focal point, I used one of the new dies that they are selling with my cuttlebug.

The yellow 'pearls' are liquid pearls that matched perfectly. A tip for using liquid pearls: after applying to the paper, thump the back of the paper so that it evens out. It will dry nice and flat when this is done properly.

Ok friends, I am off to study some more for my American History exam. Have I ever told you how much I love history? If I was not going to school to be a graphic designer, I would have majored in History! The art part wins out though. I can't help myself!

Have a great day!

Keep up the studying. They make everyone study things that we won't use no matter what profession. You can do it!

Oh melanie very pretty card. Have you tried the new liquid pearls by Viva Decor. they form a perfect half pearl when they dry.

I thought I would tell you this since you love pearls like me.
