Rose valentine card.

Hello, friends!

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! They meant so much to me!

Today's card has no cricut and is just stamping. I do not do this often, but this stamp set inspires me quite a bit.

Now remember today is the last day to get this stamp set, the Who's Your Valentine kit, and this is the last day you can order from the current catalog. Also, this is the last day on the drawing for $50 worth of free stuff in the new catalog. To get in on this, all you have to do is place an order with me today.

For this card, I stamped the large rose image onto cardstock. Then I colored int he image using Close To My Heart Blush and Sweet Leaf marker sets. Next, I carefully cut out the image. This took sometime, but I had CSI on in the background so it was not too bad.

The sentiment was stamped on vellum and the paper used is from the NEW catalog and is called For Always (X7165B).

This week's giveaway is the Stencil cartridge!

Happy Thanksgiving card.

Hello, friends!

Today I have another Fall themed card. I am just so Halloweened out! Not sure why I feel that way this year, but I am just so over it!

This card was made using the Art philosophy cartridge and a few stamp sets. I thought it would be fun to make my own patterned paper using the pumpkin stamp set called So Grateful. It is just so pretty and festive! I also used a stamp set called Family Tree that coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge.
The shape is cut out at 1 1/2"
The stamp sets are So Grateful and Family Tree.
All paper, ink, and rhinestones are from Close To My Heart.
October Specials (only 3 days left!)

Back by popular demand, I am giving away one E2 Cricut machine to a lucky customer. To be eligible to win, you have to place an order on my Close To My Heart website this month. That is it! I will draw a winner November 1st.

The October stamp of the month is a total must have! It is called Very Merry Christmas and coordinates with the Artiste cartridge, so if you have that cartridge you are going to want to snatch this up! It makes tag making a total snap!

As always, this stamp set (retail price of $17.95) is only $5 with any order of $50 or more!

Now don't forget that you can still buy the fabulous Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges, so if you have not taken the plunge yet, come on in the water is great!

Ok smile card made using the Cricut Artiste cartridge and the It's Your Day stamp set.

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did. All my house work is done, so that means while my son is at school tomorrow I can craft all day with out interruption! I could not be more thrilled!

Today's project is a pop-up card that I made using the Artiste cartridge and the It's Your Day double stamp set (scroll down to see details on how to get this stamp set for only $5). I usually do not make these kind of cards, but I have to tell you I wish there were more cartridges that do this. I know that whoever I give this card to will love the inside surprise!

I cut the card out at 5 1/2".
I used the masking technique to stamp the butterflies.

The silver shimmer trim is from Close To My Heart.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I will see you sweet ladies tomorrow!!

Celebrate today card made using the Paper Lantern stamp set.

Hello, friends!

Are you guys as stunned and sad about losing the great Whitney Houston? I was patiently waiting for her to come out with an incredible comeback album. That is not in the cards though now I am afraid. She was one of my absolute favorite singers of all time and I never thought I would be as sad as I am about this. I suppose heaven now has another angel to sing in its choir.

Today I have a card that does not have any Cricut. I know I know the horror! I just felt like stamping using this stamp set and came up with this. Now this blog is not turning into a stamping blog. Sometimes you just want to quickly stamp something. Know what I mean? This card may have taken 15 minutes!

I used a really pretty set from Close To My Heart called Paper Lanterns. It is a cheerful set that lends itself to plain stamping or will work great with the Cricut!

All supplies used are from Close To My Heart except the ribbon.
I traced the lanterns with Stardust Glitter Gel.

February Specials
The February stamp of the month is called Thoughtful Tidings and coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge. As usual it is $17.95 if purchased alone or only $5 with any purchase of $50 or more!

Thank you very much flower card using Baby Shower cartridge and NEW CTMH stamps!

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a superdity duperdity weekend! My weekend was similar to last weekend. I toiled away trying to get my house ready to sell. That is serious work y'all! This is my first time ever selling a house and I have to tell you, it is way more stressful than I thought it would be! Not only that, it is a seriously blow to your ego. Apparently, if you want to feel bad about your design skills have a realtor come over. Oh well, maybe sometimes you need people to bring you into reality and tell you that you should not have painted your master bathroom pink. Let me clarify though, it was not of the pepto bismol or hot/electric pink varieties like I have seen some people do. It was a soft rose pink. Now it is a soft taupe and we actually really like it. Who knew!?! Actually my husband did. He always hated the pink. Bless him. He is so patient with me and my crazy self!

Today's card is made using the Baby Shower cartridge and a new stamp set from the Close To My Heart Spring/Summer catalog called Card Word Puzzle

Here is the CCR file: http://www.box.com/s/pvvkhk4f2aqxexurr9mm
Here is the Gypsy file:  http://www.box.com/s/hc4fi9gyjmrhy8jj6g59

I used the Close To My Heart Pemberley paper line.
I stamped the flower in Outdoor Denim and then colored it in with markers. I stamped the sentiment with a kraft ink color then inked the edges with the same ink.
Thanks so much for dropping by! I will be back tomorrow with another project!

February Specials
The February stamp of the month is called Thoughtful Tidings and coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge. It also has some great number and sentiment stamps! As usual it is $17.95 if purchased alone or only $5 with any purchase of $50 or more!

Have a great Monday!

Falling Leaves thank you card using Cricut Wild Card cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Well, I have survived my weekend of studying and writing. I have a test this morning, but I think I will be ok.

I had a little bit of time yesterday, so I was able to make a few things for this blog. Today's card was so easy to put together! I think I might have made it in 30 minutes. That included designing it and finding a cricut cut that I wanted to use.

I used the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. I always forget about this little gem. Even if you do not want to cut out cards with it(I don't like to do this either) there are lots of awesome cuts on it!

I used SU! patterned paper from the little catalog.
The ribbon is also from SU!
I cut this at 9 1/2" The reason the size sounds so big is because the sizing is weird on Wild Card.
These are SU! stamps that I stamped, hand cut out, and then glittered.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Keep checking back with me all week because I have several things that I have made today to show you!!

Have a Terrific Tuesday, my friends!!
