I heart coffee layout!

Hello, friends!

Today's project is a scrapbook layout that I made this week using the wonderful Love You A Latte cartridge. As some of you might know from things I said on my other blog, that I really love coffee. Recently my Tassimo stopped working and I was heartbroken because my brothers gave it to me for Christmas several years ago. They typically get me nothing at all or something that no one would want. I know they mean well, so I never complain. However, this was a total winner and I have used it practically everyday since. When it broke I went out the next day and bought a Keurig because it came highly recommended by Joy. I really value her opinion and she was 100% on the money! I like this machine even more than the other, but am still sad that my wonderful gift had to be tossed out.

When the Love You A Latte cartridge came out Joy told me I had to do a layout about my story, because that is what scrapbooking is all about after all! We do it to tell stories.

The paper is from Close To My Heart.

I cut the mug out at 6". I cut the 'I' out at 1" using the American Alphabet cartridge.

Wall hanging made using the NEW Love You A Latte cartridge!

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend. My In-laws are back safely in the UK and everything is getting back to normal around here. Well except for the fact that I dropped my Macbook and broke it the other night. Talk about angry with myself! Look like I am going to be using my husband's laptop until mine comes back from the shop. Isn't crazy how much we depend on these silly things. What did we do before computers?

Today's card is made using the Love You A Latte cartridge. You guys know how much I love coffee, right? When I saw this included with the usual bag of Hello Thursday cartridges I got very excited and could think of about 5 projects right off the bat.

This particular project is something for a friend of mine who have their kitchen decorated in coffee theme. It should look really great on the all!

This was the best picture I could get of it because of the reflective glass. I used Bo Bunny paper.

They were cut out at 4" each.

I got the frame at Walmart for about $12.

Hello Thursday round 1 June 2011

Happy Thursday, friends!

It's that time once again. There are three Hello Thursdays this month and so we have been busy little bees working on projects to show all of you. This first release includes 5 Lite cartridges and I don't know about you, but I HEART Lite cartridges! They typically have some really cute designs and I love that they do not have tons of layers.

Love You a Latte this is my absolute favorite of the release!

The paper is from Bo Bunny.

I cut 'Love You A Latte' out at 4 1/2"

I cut the coffee cup out at 1 1/2".

Sweet Shop:

The paper is from Bo Bunny.

I cut the donuts out at 1".

the stamped sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.

Recess

The paper is from October Afternoon.

I cut the apple out at 1 1/2" and the pinked circle out at 5".

the stamp is from Papertrey Ink as is the ribbon.

County Fair:

I used Close To My Heart paper.

State Fair is cut out at 4 1/2". The corndog is cut out at 2 1/2". The Texas shape is cut out at 3" and 'TEXAS' is cut out using 50 States at 1".

The drink is cut out at 5", the cotton candy is cut out at 6", and the Ferris Wheel is cut out at 4" using the Summer Vacation mini.

9 Months

The paper is from Papertrey Ink as are the ribbon and stamp.

I cut the elephant out at 2 1/2".
