Smile for the Camera card

Hello, friends!

Today, I have a card that I made using the stamp of the month called Life in Pictures and some watercolors.

I heat embossed the black portions using black embossing powder. I like to do this when I watercolor because I know for sure the ink will not run and become a total mess.

For the background, I just used my watercolors and made diagonal stripes. This could not be easier!

So typical of you Melanie to take a 'black and white' stamp set and soften it with pretty pastel colors to end up with such a pretty card. The ribbon and bow also add to the beauty of the card. Great to show that you don't need to keep the whole project in a black and white color combo.
