Cricut Lollipop card

Hello, my sweet friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I tried to rest since I have not been feeling great. However, I ended up going through my closet and getting rid of stuff that does not fit. Seriously, I needed to get real with myself!

Before I tell you all about the card, I wanted to remind all of you that this is the last day to get a mystery stamp set. All you have to do is place an order on my site and I will send out the stamp set separately. It will not be added to your cart or come inside the box with the rest of your order. It will come via USPS directly from me!

This week's challenge over at the Bitten By the Bug blog is a sweet one! We were asked to make a project using some form of candy. I chose this cute lollipop from Sweet Shop. The beauty of this cut is that it is makes a card with out a lot of fuss. I did, however, add a bow to it.

The sentiment is from the Sugar and Spice stamp set. I simply stamped it and cut it out with my fine tipped scissors. Easy peasy, y'all!

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Lollipop card

If you do not, I cut the shape out at 4 1/2" and the bow at 1 1/2".

Hi & Good Monday Morning Miss Melanie!! What a Sweetie of a card...Definitely a super adorable Lollipop....love your cutie patootie embellishing ideas along with loving the papers and colors.
Sounds like you had a very productive week-end....it's awesome that you weeded out your clothes. I love doing this....and then pass them on to Good Will.....so YAY that you tackled a job that made you feel good despite your not feeling the best....it's great that you kept yourself busy as it helps to deal with the yucky things. Maybe you can treat yourself to a few new things as a little retail therapy goes a long way...also pop on your pink wig...now this has to make you feel "PRETTY IN PINK". Girl you are so cool. YOU DO ROCK!!

Cute card...Love the addition of a bow. I keep telling myself I need to do a major overhaul on my closet. I usually do some cleaning out when I switch from winter to summer clothes but I think I need to do more this time. Anyway, I hope you're feeling better.

Well, closet cleaning always makes me feel better. In fact, if you need more closet therapy, my closet is at your disposal to go to work! Seriously, I hope you are feeling better. Love the sweet card and the color scheme.

Cute and fun lollipop card Melanie! I love the fun papers you used, the fun bow on the stick is awesome and I love the candy dots. Makes me want a lollipop, or maybe a tootsie pop, you get the best of both worlds with a tootsie pop. lol Hugs, Brenda
