Hello, friends!
I wanted to remind you really quickly about my mystery hostess promotion I am doing this month. Don't forget that any size order can get you in the drawing!
Today, I have a card that I made using the fantabulous Artiste cartridge and the stamp of the month. I really wanted this card to have a lot of golden elegance. I used a few different things to make this happen.
First, the sentiment was stamped using the stamp of the month and Versamark ink. It was then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
Next, I trimmed down one of the clear gold Picture My Life cards, so it would fit on top of the white cardstock. I thought it would be nice the have the border down the side. Plus, I like rigidity that the clear plastic gives the card. It was adhered using liquid glass.
I added some gold foil tape to anchor the border on the right side. Then, I added a piece of red glitter paper behind.
Using my wonderful Artiste cartridge I cut out the ornaments, stamped them with the stamp of the month and Cranberry ink, and then popped them on the card. I really felt like they needed something more, so I added the cute bows!
This card is one that I will save for someone special. Maybe my parents will get this one!
If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Artiste Believe Card
If you do not have an Explore, I cut the ornaments out at 2 3/4"
