Cricut Artistry Heart Border card with a video!

Cricut Artistry Heart Border card

Hello, friends!

Today, I have a sleek and simple card that I made using the Artistry cartridge. To make this card I used the slice feature on Cricut Design Space for both the sentiments and the heart border. Also, I should note that the hide/contour function was also used on the sentiment.

This was a very easy card to make, but I am worried you guys would be overwhelmed, so I made a quick video on the fly to show you how. Now, it is really a on the fly video, so don't judge, people!

Love the card and the video, but, boy, am I lost when it comes to all the intricacies of the Design Space software. You make it all look so easy.I get frustrated with my Explore because it does not cut intricate shapes well and is very picky about paper. Tba is for all that you share. I pray you are doing well! Hugs!

Love your card gonna watch the video again, because I have done slice before but only to cut things off not to cut out letters!!! Liking the heart border too!!! I feel bad that lilgreen bugs explore isn't cutting well, If I was her I would try a new needle if that didn't work I would call cricut, I rarely have trouble cutting any intricate items and I cut a lot of ANNA Griffin....Hugs Jean

I love your card and love your video too! I have a question though. I hope you don't mind. On the cardstock, do you get 2 colors of each? Also, does the font come with a shadow? Thank you for your inspiration!

Melanie, GREAT video showing how easy it is to use some of the unique features of Design Space. Just LOVE this card. And as simple as it seems, I wondered how you backed small cutouts with different colors so it wouldn't be tedious....WOW..how simple to size circles behind and just cut!!!

Yes, you get two sheets of each color. The font does not have a shadow, unfortunately.

Especially like your wonderful idea of using the circles for your heart background colors.
