Cricut Pucker Up card

Fancy Card Friday

Hello, friends!

Before I tell you all about my card, I wanted to quickly tell you about the May specials. I am not going to go into great detail in this post, so if you want more information please feel free to email me. Otherwise, I will post something on Sunday will full details.

This month is National Scrapbooking month and as such, Close To My Heart is offering an exclusive fruit themed paper pack called Taste of Summer for only $8.95. I have already made all of my projects for May and let me tell you it is beautiful!

Not only are they offering an exclusive paper pack for May, but that have designed a stamp set that is also available for purchase. I was lucky enough to have had input on the stamp set as well. All of the cute puns were my idea. I cannot believe they thought my idea was good enough to actually do it, but they did! I just love Close To My Heart! Anyway, the stamp set is also called Taste of Summer and is $17.95 and like the paper pack only available this month!

I came across another stamp set that goes with this paper and stamp set perfectly and have decided to create a special including it. If you buy both the Taste of Summer paper pack and stamp set you will get the Ice Cold Summer stamp set for FREE!

There is also a great stamp of the month, but I will talk more about that Sunday.

Now, onto my card. This card is made using the Taste of Summer paper pack. I cannot express to you all enough how much fun this paper was to work with. It is bright and cheerful! They even included the cute lemon trim. All of the double sided patterned papers have an adorable strip that can be used as well. How can you not love those lemon slices?

I used the This and That cartridge for the lemon slice, but there are several cartridges that have fruit on them. Just do a search in Cricut Design Space (even if you do not own an Explore) for lemons, oranges, limes, or strawberries and you will be amazed at how many cuts there are.

The font is from Anna Griffin Soiree Lettering.

If you have an Explore, here is the file: Cricut Pucker Up card

If you do not have an Explore, here are the approximate sizes:
Lemon - 1 1/2"
Pucker - 2 3/4"
Up' - 1 3/4"

Fruit-licious. Wonderful for Summer. The papers are great. Like the stripey lines. I like lemonade both regular & pink. I'm going to give the Cricut subscription a try. I bought an individual image the other day using a Visa gift card and I have another Visa gift card I got for a tire rebate and will use it for subscription. I noticed there were images listed as free for the wk. Do the free images stay with you each wk if subscription or not or how do they work?
