Cricut Artbooking Woodlands Thank you card

Cricut Artbooking Woodlands Thank you card
Hello, friends!

Thank you so much for the kind words yesterday. I have a family member who is very ill and we rushed up to see him in the hospital out of state Saturday night. I am back home, but very worried about my family member. Any and all prayers for my family would be greatly appreciated.

Today, I have a fun card that I made using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and the stamp of the month. It has kind of a woodlands chic look about it since I added the gold touches. I just want to add gold to everything! Also, since I feel like I mastered heat embossing, I am adding that element a lot as well.

Ok, there is lots going on with this card, so I wrote it all out to explain.

The woodgrain portion along with the banner are all cut from Artbooking. I stamped the banner using the Assorted Borders stamp set and essentially made my own gold embossed patterned paper. I should do this more often! The frame was stamped with the stamp of the month and then colored with Shin Han markers. The sentiment was also embossed, but was stamped using the Variety of Thanks stamp set (this set is free to those of you who spend $150 this month). The frame was then cut out by hand.

I topped it all off with flowers from the Lovely Birthday stamp set that were also gold embossed on watercolor paper. Then, watercolored them using ink.

Prayers for your loved one who is ill for recovery. And for you and your family as you give support.

Your card is so pretty. I like the woodgrain and the pretty pink flowers. The banner hanging on the front is a fun way hold the pretty frame and sentiment.

Its so nice to see the way you finish off the inside of your cards as well. Truly professional. Thank you for sharing your lovely work! :)

Pretty card! Love all the contrasts--pink and brown, woodgrain and flowers--and, of course, the gold embossing.
