Cricut Artbooking Polka Dot card

Cricut Artbooking Polka Dot card

Hello, friends!

April 6th, I will be launching my new scheduled programming on this blog. Because you guys were so helpful by taking that survey, I was able to make a decision on what days to offer in the new schedule. I am excited about the new structure and hope you guys love it too!

Here are the labels with a brief description for my Monday through Friday schedule.

Quick and Easy card Monday banner

On Mondays, I will feature a card that is both simple, quick, and easy to duplicate. T, T, T, AND T Tuesday
Tuesdays will be tons of fun! On that day, you can expect a tutorial on how to do a technique, tips on crafting like a pro, tricks that will save you time, or I will talk to you about new trends in the industry and how you can incorporate them into your own crafts.

Scrap it, Bag it, or Decorate it Wednesday

Wednesdays are going to be all about non-card crafts. On this day, you will find Home Decor projects, Scrapbook layouts, gift bags, tags, and even the occasional party favor!
All about stamps Thursday
Thursdays are going to be all about stamping. I will curb the Cricut for a day and show you how to make fun cards with stamps and dies. I have always wanted to have a day like this, but was afraid you guys would never go for it. I was thrilled to see I was wrong from the results of the survey.
Fancy card Friday
This one is a little bit of a throw back from my Everyday Cricut days. You know what they say, " If it ain't broken, don't fix it." Our Fancy Card day was always popular and going by your responses on the survey, it is still something that you guys want to see!

Now let's talk about the videos. I will do one a week and it will show up on one of the days listed above. Sometimes it will be project specific and sometimes it will just show you how to do certain techniques or demonstrate a trick or tip. There will for sure be a stamping tutorial series, Cricut Design Space tutorials, and a bow tying video. If there are others you would like to see, be sure to let me know! The plan was to get one up this week. My son is on spring break though and he does not care if I am filming or not. He just bursts into my room and starts talking. I need one of those lights outside of my room saying I am 'on air' or something.

What do you guys think? I hope you are all as excited as I am.

Today, I have a card made using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and the March stamp of the month! Since I blathered so much earlier, I will not go on too much here.

I colored the stamp with the Shin Han markers, cut it out, and added the sentiment in the center. I mounted it on the banner cut out portion of the card and tied a little bow at the bottom. Then, popped it up with dimensional adhesive. Next, I added it to the polka dot base that had also been cut out with the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.

Looking forward to the new schedule of wonderful crafting. Like the polka dot card. Like the coloring & bow. I phoned Cricut yesterday to find out why after updating & syncing my Gypsy & Craft Room that Design Space was not finding all my purchased Cricut cartridges. I had to log out & log back in for it to get the latest updates.

Melanie, I love your upcoming schedule, what a new, fun, and exciting time for you and your blog. This is the one time I wish April were here already lol ;)

Today's card is absolutely beautiful and I love everything about it. Your cut stamps are so amazing, I never would of thought it was a stamp that you cut out. So very meticulous you are.

That card is gorgeous! Melanie, if you could do a video on how to add text onto an object in Design Space, I would be so grateful. I am still learning and I tried to add Happy Birthday to a truck to make a guy card and I just could not get it to work properly. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!
