Hello, friends!
Today I have a very easy project I made for my team members who attended convention at Disneyland last week. We had a great time! Below is a picture of me, my son, and Mickey Mouse.
Easy Minnie Mouse Necklace file
Now to make these necklaces you will need the supplies listed below in my supply list. Also, I used the Mickey Font and Mickey and Friends cartridges.
First you cut out the pieces from the file I provided above. Assemble the circles and squares with the Minnie heads. Then you put a bit of liquid glass to adhere the circle or square to the metal pendant. Next, put a lot of liquid glass on top of the Minnie head. I mean completely cover it so that when you put the cover on it oozes out. Put on the glass cover and press down. While firmly holding down the cover, quickly wipe off the excess liquid glass with a baby wipe. Let dry.
Instead of adding a chain I went ahead and used ribbon. I think it brings out Minnie's bow.
Now tomorrow I am going to show you what I put these little cuties in as I made that too!

Creative. Like the Minnie Mouse necklaces. I use to work for the Mouse as in Mickey Mouse at Disney World in FL during high school & college. Last yr I enjoyed a trip to DisneyLand in CA.

Oh those are so cute. My granddaughter would love for me to make one of those. Will have to give it a try..... TFS!
Great idea! I'm going to take it one step further and either use my Cuttlebug Minnie or my Mickey and Friends cart. TFS
Those are so cute! And I love the picture of you and your son with Mickey!
These are very sweet, Melanie. It was great to see you up on stage again, at convention. Wished I had had a chance to say hi....maybe next year!
What little girl (or any age) wouldn't like Minnie Mouse! Thanks for the ideal.
Very very cute. looking forward to the next step
Really cute project! Thanks for sharing your time, talents, and ideas with us.
Very cute--my granddaughters would love these.
Adorable necklaces! You are soooooo creative! Great photo, too. Thanks for sharing it.
Oh I love these! We are taking a Disney trip for Christmas this year. I have a little girl who is big for her age so all the traditional Disney stuff doesn't work for her. This is a great alternative! Thanks for the idea. (:
