Happy 10th birthday card made using the Close To My Heart Artbooking cartridge!

Hello, friends!

Today I have a masculine birthday card that I made for a child in my son's class.  It is made for the Bitten By the Bug 2 challenge of the week. This week's challenge called for a project made using a football. Well my son is half British, so football means soccer ball.

I find masculine projects difficult. You see, when you like flowers and bows like I do not being able to use either is very difficult. Why can't men just like  flowers and bows and this problem of mine would be solved ;-)

This project is made using the Close To My Heart Artbooking cartridge and a couple of stamp set from the Close To My Heart Holidays From the Heart catalog.

Love the card and I agree, why can't men, boys for that matter, like flowers and bows too? But I reckon there's no challenge in that ;-) Thanks for sharing this wonderful card, I'll definitely use your idea.

I agree about the flowers and bows! It really is hard to make a guy card. You certainly rocked this card. I love the banner, soccer ball and the number in the middle!

I really enjoy your posts but wish you would put your cut sizes on them. I have a Gypsy and a computer but I really am not computer savvy enough to figure the files out.

Yes, guy cards are tough. I totally agree. I'm a fan of the bows myself! This card is great! You still got to use embellishments. So win win!
