Stenciled rug made using the Letter Envy cartridge.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a Home Decor item for you that I made using Letter Envy. Now you could really use ANY font you like. This is a super simple project to do.

To do this project you will need Stencil material. I used the Provo Craft kind, but you could use acetate. I cut the letter in the center of the stencil material, so it is easier to paint onto the rug. I just used plain old acrylic paint as well. This could not be easier!

I bought this rug at Ikea for like $8 or something. Not a bank breaker at all!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! See you guys back here tomorrow!

What a fabulous idea! I'm always looking for things like this to make Christmas gifts. (Yes, I start early.) As I've never used stencil materials or done anything like this, I'd love it if you would please do another post with a more detailed tutorial. Thanks!

What a great idea! I used to stencil all kinds of things, but I haven't done it for more than 20 years. This would be good for getting my feet wet again. The kids could get involved too!

Love the rug. Great inexpensive gift idea. How much is the consultant kit for CTMH? I can't find it anywhere on the website.

I made some similar rugs for friends at Christmas. Wal-Mart had some rugs marked down to a dollar so I grabbed a bunch. I used contact paper for the stencil and regular craft paint.
I like the look of the rug you used better than the ones I used. I'll have to look for one like that and make a rug for myself. Thanks for all of your great ideas!

I love the flashcards! I bought the Cricut machine because I am a teacher and I wanted to use the machine for my classroom projects. Needless to say, I will be making some flashcards.

First of all I love the Art Deco cart, It reminds of my grandmother who passed away in 1989, I have always loved that style, so sleek and clean looking. The rug idea is marvelous, and simple, and lovely to look at. The Flash cards are so cute they will really keep kids attention and that will help them to keep learning.

What a lovely way to welcome spring, your basket of strawberries with the addition of the bright green - this is a must-have cartridge! I'd love to be the winner - and fill the strawberries with my favourite candy - Smarties. Thanks for the chance of winning.
