Kiddie flash cards made using the My Quiet Book cartridge.

Aloha, friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I got back Sunday afternoon from Hawai'i and was utterly exhausted. Which is why you did not see a post from me yesterday. I was so exhausted and seriously jet lagged! I'm still struggling to get back in to my regular routine and have so many things to get caught up on. However, Hawai'i was amazing! If you can ever go you totally should. The people of Hawai'i are the most hospitable people ever and I'm from the south! Anyway, it was a trip filled with Close To My Heart consultants and I made several new friends and you really cannot have enough of those! What a great group!

If you want in on all the fun, and go to the Caribbean with us next year sign up under me with CTMH and you can earn one of these FABULOUS cruises yourself! With me as your upline, how could you go wrong? *wink* Don't forget that this month is a great time to do that because CTMH is probably running the best sign up deal of the year. When you buy the consultant kit (which has paper, stamps, acrylic block and a ton of other fun stuff worth $288) for $99, you get a free Art Philosophy bundle! Great time to take the plunge, right!

Ok, enough of all of that. It's time to show you a project. Today I have a project you can make your little ones to help them learn to read using the My Quiet Book Cricut cartridge. It was not hard to make, so you gotta love that!

I used Close To My Heart cardstock and other cardstock in my stash.
For the lettering I used a Close To My Heart stamp called Polka Dot. It really made adding the lettering easy!

March Specials
The March stamp of the month is called Potential and coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge. As usual it is $17.95 if purchased alone or only $5 with any purchase of $50 or more!

Also,

March is a great time to share Close To My Heart’s philosophy of fun!  New Consultants who sign up in March will receive a fabulous Cricut® Art Philosophy collection FREE! If you already have the  collection, you can choose to receive $100 in select product credit* instead. The collection, which retails for $99, is actually valued at over $124, adding incredible value to the New Consultant Kit. It’s time for everyone to embrace the philosophy of fun—Consultant and Cricut® fun!
Dates: Offer valid valid March 1 at 9:00 am (MST) – March 31 at 11:59 pm (MDT).
So come join my team and get a free Art Philosophy cartridge (with the purchase of the new consultant kit)!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

These are too cute! I have a question about being a consultant...does it make sense to join just to buy my own products at a discount? Do I have to spend hundreds of dollars a quarter to receive a good discount? (I already have the Art Philosophy bundle, but I love CTMH products) Email me :)

So happy you had a great time in Hawaii. I've been a few times and loved it on each occasion! Sounds like such a blast to be able to go with a group of crafty ladies though! I think your flash cards are great! And my sister is having a new baby so I could totally make a great gift of them! TFS! I keep wanting to by the Art Philosophy collection and it seems like if I'm ever going to do it now is the time cause I would basically be getting the consultant kit free! How awesome is that!?

Melanie as a CTMH consultant do you have to hold parties or can you just take book orders?
It is nice to know you enjoyed your time in Hawaii.

I wish I could join your team, but being in the UK it's probably not really practical. And I'm already sulking because I can't get the Philosophy Art Cartridge. But I'm not going to let that stop me enjoying your posts and creations, nor having fun playing with what I can get my hands on.

LOVE the flash cards. It sure looks like a lot of "work". I would definitely laminate them!!! They would also look VERY CUTE enlarged as a grouping for a wallhanging in a small child's room. Thanks for sharing!

Im going to have to steal your flash cards idea. I have a soon to be 3 year old grand daughter who loves to learn. She's on the right track I think. I think the Country cottage is my favorite.
