Snowflake Winter Wonderland card using Art Philosophy

Hello, friends!

I was cleaning out a drawer in my crafting room today and I found all my embossing powders. I cannot tell you the last time I used that technique, so I felt it was time to dust it off and use it. For today's card, I used that technique in tandem with my beloved Cricut. LOVE IT!

The stamp set that I used today in tandem with the Art Philosophy cartridge is call Snowflakes. I coordinates with cartridge and the pretty snowflakes stamp later beautifully as you will see below.

This is the stamp set I used. It is called Snowflakes.
I used Papertrey Ink paper and ribbon.
I cut the cream colored snowflake out at 3 1/4" using the Art Philosophy cartridge. Then stamped it using the olive green ink. I stamped the next layer using Versamark ink. Next I sprinkled embossing powder on top and heated it using my embossing heating tool. One of the best tips on successful embossing is use a quality embossing powder. It makes all the difference!
I cut this oval out using the Art Philosophy cartridge at 1".
See you all back here tomorrow!

Beautiful card! I like to use embossing powders, but sometimes I don't get all the excess off and I have stray flecks of embossed areas. Any suggestions?

I just love how you keep inspiring us with the variety of your designs. What caught my eye was how well you matched the greens (at least on my monitor) in your card, the stamped sentiment matches so perfectly. I don't know how you do it, but I'm so happy that you do!
