I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a wet one and I think fall might have actually arrived! Which is perfect because this week I have a TON of autumnal themed projects!
This project is made using the Autumn Celebrations cartridge. Fall is my favorite season, so this cartridge is a total must have for me. I hope that they make similar cartridges for Spring and Winter!
After I had chose the acorn cut I tried to find some paper that would compliment the cut. As much paper as I have in my stash, I could not find the perfect paper. Then I decided I would make my own using this stamp set. It is called Harvest Happiness and also coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge. Gotta love a good leaf stamp set!
I used the acorn stamp and one of the leaves to make my patterned paper. I used the flourish in the top right hand corner to make the print behind the stamped sentiment.
All supplies are from Close To My Heart.
I cut the acorn out at 2".
I used one of Emma's dies for the sentiment and added some adhesive backed pearls.
Thanks so much for dropping in today!! I will be back tomorrow with a spooky Halloween card!
