You melt my heart card tutorial using CTMH Art Philosophy.

Hello, friends!

Today I have a tutorial using the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge. Those people who have asked for tutorials have quite often mentioned card tutorials, so today your wish is my command!

Now I am not sure if I told you guys or not how hot it was down here in Texas all summer. Well, this week we have gotten a momentary reprieve. However, when I made this card I was thinking lots of cool thoughts ;-)

I used all Close To My Heart products (cardstock, stamps, adhesive backed pearls, ribbon, and markers).

I cut the card out at 5" using the Art Philosophy cartridge. This will make it 5" tall when folded in half.
I then scored the center using my Scorpal.
I then cut out a 4 3/4" circle using the Wonderland paper pack.
I adhered it ont he inside of the card, so that the patterned paper shines though.
Then I felt like this card needed a little stitching (don't I always ;-)) using a Crystal Blue markers
Then using the Art Philosophy cartridge I cut out this basic heart at 1 1/4".
Then more stitching...this time using my White Unibal Signo. This is not sold by Close To My Heart, but oh so handy. I have had many questions about the white pen I use. Here it is!
Then I added the heart to the center.
The sentiment that I used is from this stamp set. It is called Snowflakes and coordinates with this cartridge as well!

I used this Crystal Blue ink pad.
Then added the sentiment to the center of the heart.
Now to add the pink ribbon trim I used the liquid glass as an adhesive. It works great on fabrics!

This is ribbon I used. It the is Pink Designer ribbon collection.
Then of coarse I used some adhesive backed pearls.
Voila! This was super simple to make and would be a really cute Christmas card to send or it could be cut smaller and used as a gift card on a bag.

Such a pretty card Melanie. Don't know where you are in reference to all the fires that are going on there, but hope you and Joy are out of harms way. Having been thru 2 major fires here in San Diego, I know how scarry they are. Keep Safe.
