Semptember stamp of the month

Hello, friends!!!

I wanted to thank all of those who ordered the cartridge bundle from me this month. I thought I would sell maybe 50 if I was lucky and I sold 350! I also just want to thank all of my wonderful followers. You guys are some of the best on the net! Seriously! I get some of the nicest emails, comments, and  phone calls from you guys. It really keeps me going on those days I want to stop blogging. Then again I love crafting too much to do that!

I have a card for you today. It is one I made using the NEW September Stamp of the month and the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge. Now I will be getting back to showing off all those other wonderful Cricut cartridges next week. I have decided on the first day of the month I will start  showing the new stamp sets.

This stamp set coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge and the dimensional elements chipboard tags. This stamp set is only available this month. You can get it for $5 with an order of $50 or more! It is perfect for making your own journaling tags. I will be using this later on in the month for scrapbook pages!

Now on to the card....

All supplies are from Close to My Heart.
The papers I used are from the Elemental line.

Using the September stamp of the month I stamped the tag and the sentiment. The tag was cut out at 3 1/2". Then I added the tag to a coordinating chipboard cut out.

To make the rosette, I cut out 2 borders using the Art Philosophy cartridge. I fan folded the pieces and taped the ends together.

Then I cut out at 1/2" circle and 3 1" leaves from the Art Philosophy cartridge.

Any orders placed over $75 are still eligible for the Pair a Phrase stamp set until September 30th.

If you are interested in purchasing the Art Philosophy bundle (which is STILL only $99)

or any of these specials click here to order them: Melanie's Close To My Heart website

Wow, what amazing sales. That certainly is inspiration that I need to get going with my blog! I wasn't sure if I liked this paper or not, but now that I've seen the project, it is growing on me!

Such a cute card! If my car will stop breaking something, I'll be able to buy Art Philosophy sometime lol. And I have the Tim Holtz rosettes, and I've scored plain paper rosettes, but it never ever occurred to me to fold borders!! No matter how old I get, there's always something to learn :D.
