Poison Halloween card made using the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cricut cartridge

Hello, friends!

Today I have a Halloween card that I made using the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake cartridge and the Mischief Close To My Heart paper line. I love all of the Martha cartridges especially this one!

This is the paper line I used.
I cut 'poison' out at 2 1/2" and the witch out at 1".
I cut out a circle at 1 1/2" to put the witch one. I inked the edges with a little bit of gray ink to make it look like a moon.
Now people ask me every year what would you make a Halloween card for. I always tell them that they are great to use as thank you cards around Halloween time. Just stamp a thank you sentiment on the inside and you are ready to go.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Great card! I love MS cake carts. More versatile than the punches for paper crafting.
I like Hallowe'en cards to send to little people who are too far away for me to share a treat with. Add a few stickers and a stick of gum and they are so excited to receive mail.
Thanks for sharing! :)

Awesome card! I too love MS cake arts.
I make Halloween cards for my grandkids and instead of candy I put $5.00 in each one for their Halloween treat(since they already have their candy treats) and they love it!

I don't usually think of Poison at the same time as Cake - but you make it work. Thanks for sharing.

Great card. I love the witch. We send Halloween cards like others send Christmas cards. I usually get them made in the summer, when there is a bit more time to get creative. We take the grandkids pictures, in their costumes, in late September. Then send the cards out a week or two before Halloween. I still send Christmas cards, just not as many and not as creative. We found that people love the kids in their costumes.

Fun to make Halloween cards. Thank you for sharing with us. Could you make a card using Ornamental Iron? I need some ideas for that cart.

I'm not a fan of Halloween. That being said, I admire the techniques you used in the construction of this card. :)
