My top ten favorite layouts of 2010!

Hello, friends!!

I had so much fun yesterday! The store we went to had 40% off everything and so I bought way too much!  They had some really nice stuff and every color of double dot paper, which you know I love! We also shopped at a quaint little shop next door that sold really nice seam binding ribbon, so I bought that in lots of colors. You will be seeing the ribbon on cards and layouts very soon!

Our lunch was so yummy! They have the best(well almost the best because I think Joy makes the best) chicken salad. It has apricots in it and is served on a really nice grainy bread. We were probably the loudest table in the small cafe and just laughed and laughed. I have to tell you I have some of the best friends you could probably have!

Today I am posting my layout top picks of the year. I have some layouts that I have made that I am not crazy about. However, I have some of which I am really proud. I have directions for as many as I could get. Some of the layouts are from Hello Thursday posts, so they all do not have any or much as far as instructions go.

The title was cut out at 4" and then layered on the it's shadow using the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. I used CTMH paper and cardstock. Also, the little rain boots are a CTMH stamp.

the clouds were cut from an old SU! paper line. The sun is a CTMH stamp.
Another awesome thing about this cartridge is the tag feature! I just love it. There are so many wonderful layered shapes and they make fantastic journaling tags. This one was cut at 3 1/4".

This is a papertrey Ink stamp.
This layout is made using the Holiday cakes cartridge.

Photobucket
I cut the title using the Straight from the Nest cartridge at 2 1/4".
Photobucket
The pretty pink flowers are from Straight From The Nest as well cut at 2". I used core'dinations cardstock(because I think it is the absolute best!).

To get the extra butterflies, just cut the shift layer a few extra times. I cut it in a glittered pink(for the title), in a glittered light aqua, and a glittered deep aqua cardstock.
Photobucket
I searched using my Design Studio to find out which cartridge had a vase because I could not remember. It told me that Walk in My Garden had a few. I chose the one with the most girth.
Photobucket
I then cuttlebuged it with the 'Victoria' cuttlebug folder to give it a little texture.
This layout is made using the Cindy Loo cartridge and Basic Grey paper.

This layout is made using the Toy Story cartridge.

I used mostly Core'dinations cardstock on this layout.

The rope frames are inked to give them more of a realistic look.

This layout is made using the 3 birds on Parade3 cartridge.

This layout is made using Country Life.

This boy's layout is made using the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge.
This layout is made using the playtime cartridge and  Close To My Heart paper.
I cut this little boy at 4 3/4". Then I added an 'e' using the Cupcake cartridge to his little chest.
This very cute word art banner is cut at 2 1/4"
I saved my favorite for last! I made this layout using my favorite cartridge Picturesque. This layout was featured in the chirp in June of this year. I was so pleased to be asked to do it, so I worked extra hard on this layout.

For the life of me I cannot remember what font I used for this title. I welded it though using my DS.

The paper is October Afternoon.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I am posting my top ten cards for 2010 tomorrow, so be sure to check in because there might be some on here that you missed!

Have a terrific Thursday!!
