Cricut Lollipop card

Hello, my sweet friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I tried to rest since I have not been feeling great. However, I ended up going through my closet and getting rid of stuff that does not fit. Seriously, I needed to get real with myself!

Before I tell you all about the card, I wanted to remind all of you that this is the last day to get a mystery stamp set. All you have to do is place an order on my site and I will send out the stamp set separately. It will not be added to your cart or come inside the box with the rest of your order. It will come via USPS directly from me!

This week's challenge over at the Bitten By the Bug blog is a sweet one! We were asked to make a project using some form of candy. I chose this cute lollipop from Sweet Shop. The beauty of this cut is that it is makes a card with out a lot of fuss. I did, however, add a bow to it.

The sentiment is from the Sugar and Spice stamp set. I simply stamped it and cut it out with my fine tipped scissors. Easy peasy, y'all!

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Lollipop card

If you do not, I cut the shape out at 4 1/2" and the bow at 1 1/2".

Scrap it, Bag it, or Decorate it Wednesday
Hello, friends!

I ran out of Workshops on the Go, so I thought I would extend an alternative special!

free mystery stamp set

Today, I have a layout that I made using the Sweet Shop and Artiste cartridges. After playing with the stamp of the month, it really made me want to make an ice cream themed layout. We eat a lot of ice cream over here during the summer, so there will be lots of opportunities to snap some photos for it.

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Keep Calm ice cream scrapbook layout

If you do not have an Explore, here are the sizes:

Ice Cream Cone (Sweet Shop): 4"
Ice Cream Sundae (Sweet Shop): 3.5"
Ice Cream Soda (Sweet Shop): 4.5"
Title (Artiste): 3/4"

Now make sure you hop over to Obsessed with Scrapbooking to check out what things Joy has made with all of the new cartridges!

Have a TERRIFIC Thursday!
