Cricut Grow With Love Card

Hello, friends!

It is my turn this week to host the challenge over at the Bitten By the Bug blog. Since Summer is almost in full swing, I chose a gardening theme. Want to participate? Head on over to the Bitten By the Bug blog!

This project is made using the Freshly Picked cartridge. I love this cartridge and it has been a very long time since I have used it. It is absolutely perfect for this theme though!

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Grow With Love Card

If you do not have an Explore, here are the sizes:
watering can: 2"
tulip box : 2 1/4"
grass: 3/4"

Cricut Make a Splash card

Quick and Easy card Monday

Hello, friends!

Today, the Bitten By the Bug challenge has an April Showers theme.

I thought it would be fun to do a card with rain boots from the Freshly Picked cartridge. Then, I thought I needed a puddle for my little boots to be jumping in, so I searched Design Space. Create A Critter had one that was just perfect. The cut had a few extra layers that I did not need, so I hide those layers and just cut the puddle itself.

The sentiment was stamped using the Rainy Day stamp set (perfect, right!). At this point I liked the card, but thought it needed so droplets from the splashing. I remembered that the Rain or Shine stamp set had little rain droplets that fit the bill.

This card does not have many layers, so it was pretty quick and easy to make. I think those little rain boots with the flowers are just the cutest things!

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Make a Splash card

If you don't have an Explore, I cut the rain boots (from Freshly Picked) out at 3" and the water (Create A Critter) was cut out at 1".

See you back here tomorrow with a new video!
