Watercolor Sunshine card

Hello, friends!

Today, I have a card made using the stamp of the month. This set has a sentiment that makes me happy every time I see it. 'You Are My Sunshine' is something I have sang to my son since he was born. There was zero chance I was going to let this month go by and not use that sentiment. Lucky for me, there is an additional element included with the stamp set that just sets off this sentiment. A SUN! Adorable, ladies!

The blue paper background was watercolored using our ink refills. The sentiment is heat embossed using black embossing. The cute rainbow zig zags are stickers included in the Kaleidoscope complements.

Great Card Melanie....this is such a cute stamp set...love the sentiments. The birdies & sun are so cute! I wondered how you got the sentiment to be so 'black'...great idea to heat emboss and also great idea to use the zig zag strips on this card!
