Hello, friends!
Are you all ready for Christmas? I totally am! Gifts bought - check. Gifts wrapped - check! Christmas cards made and sent - check! I have some cooking to do, but even most of that is sorted out this year thanks to La Madeleine (love that place)! Bring on the holiday joy!
This week is my week to host the challenge over at Bitten By the Bug. I chose Santa Claus as he will be coming to town in a few days. If you wish to play along, check out the Bitten By the Bug blog!
This card is made using the Quilted Christmas, Quilted Ornament, and Artistry cartridges. To mimic the pattern on Santa's coat, I dry embossed the paper using the Floral Embossing Folder.
The sentiment is cut out using the Artistry cartridge and then stamped using the Believe in Christmas stamp set.
If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Holiday Wishes Card
If you do not, here are the sizes:
Santa (Quilted Christmas) - 3 1/2"
Circle (Quilted Ornaments) - 4 1/4"
banner (Artistry) - 1"

OMG Melanie WOW What a Super Gorgeous card WOW!! You sure did an amazing, fabulous outstanding creative job.....I do love this Santa....and your embossed card and the backgound you placed him on make for a super beautiful Gorgeous Card...WOW. Hope you have an Awesome, Marvelous, Magnificent Monday......Thanks too for your file share. YOU so ROCK!!
What a great idea to match the Santa's coat with the background of the card....he reminds me of an 'old fashioned' Santa....such a pretty card with so much detail. Lucky you already for Christmas. Because my granddaughters are still so young (3,2 & 6months) I buy the large white gift bags at Hobby Lobby and then decorate with their name and Christmas images with my Cricut (Artistry will really help with that this year!). Putting gifts in the bag with tissue paper makes it easier for them to open their presents.
Wow, the quilting patterns match so amazingly well. I love the embossing and this Santa Claus. Beautiful card! I hope you have avery Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Love your card and thanks for hosting this week at BBTB2. Even the background looks quilted.
Merry Christmas to you and all and thanks for all you do on your blog through the year.

I must say I am a little jealous that you are all done-I have several things left to check, and am running out of time!!!!! Love your Santa-he does look very old fashioned and full of tradition, like I imagine Santa to be. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and thanks for all you do to keep us on track at BBTB2!
